Terrance Bradham Jr.
Terrance Bradham Jr., 6 weeks, of 614 Brittany Place, Fayetteville, died Oct. 29 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
The funeral was held Tuesday, Nov. 2, at 1 p.m. at H.M. Colvin Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor E.B. Herman officiating. The burial was at Rockfish Memorial Park.
Survivors are: his father, Terrance Terrell Bradham Sr. of Fayetteville; his mother, Eshanda Bradham of Fayetteville; two sisters, Khadiha L. McPhaul and Kaliya C. Bradham, both of Fayetteville; his paternal grandfather, James Shannon of Boston, Mass.; his paternal grandmother, Ruth Bradham of Laurinburg; his maternal grandfather, Larry McPhaul of Fayetteville; and maternal grandmother, Dorothy McPhaul.

Jerry Gore
Jerry Gore, 61, of 10441 Dorset Drive, Laurinburg, died Saturday, Sept. 30, in Scotland Memorial Hospital.
He was born on March 8, 1938, in Brunswick County, son of Annie Mae Avant Gore and the late Vondell Gore.
He served 20 years in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, DAV and AMRA.
The funeral will be today at 3 p.m., with military rites, at Butler Funeral Service Chapel. Dorothy Barnes will be the officiating minister. The burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
Survivors are: his wife, Patricia Strickland Gore; two sons, William Anthony Gore and Christopher Gore; one daughter, Cynthia Marie Rogers, all of Laurinburg; three sisters, Linda Hudson of West Valley City, Utah, Ella Mae (Tea) Gray of Southport and Shirley Kingsberry of Selma; his mother, Annie Mae Gore; three grandchildren, Ronald Christopher Rogers, Megan Marie Gore and Ciara Jade Gore; and one great-grandchild, Brook Rogers.
Butler Funeral Service, Laurinburg, is in charge of arrangements.

Philip Hudson Liles
Philip Hudson Liles, 83, of 820 Atkinson St. died Tuesday, November 2, at his home.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Hill United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Tom Denny. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Anderson “Dot” Liles; a son, Jim Liles and his wife, Deb, of Laurinburg; a daughter, Tish Patterson and her husband, Charles, of Laurinburg; his twin sister, Mary Liles of Gibson, a sister Annie Arnold of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Born April 17, 1916 in Marlboro County, S.C., he was a son of the late Ebbie and Annie Miller Liles. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Liles was also a member of American Legion Post #48, Laurel Hill Lions Club, was a district officer for Lions Club International, a member of the Growing Friendships Club, and an officer for the Laurel Hill Fire Department. He was also a former member of the Scotland County Zoning Board and the Elections Board. An active church member, he served as a chairman of the administrative board and was a former trustee. He was retired from Charles Craft.

Mary Kay Johnson
Mary Kay Johnson, 55, of 130 Starlight Drive, died Monday, Feb. 29 [2000], at Richmond Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 8, 1944, in Richmond County, the daughter of Luke K. Johnson Jr. and Mary McLean.
She was a 1963 graduate of Rockingham High School, a 1967 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and received her master’s degree from Appalachian State University in 1979.
She was employed by the Scotland County School System since 1976 as a teacher and guidance counselor. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Her brother, Luke K. Johnson III, preceded her in death in January 1993.
A graveside service will be held Friday, March 3, at 11 a.m. at Eastside Cemetery in Rockingham, with Lay Pastor Wendell McGee and the Rev. Dwight Williams officiating.
Surviving are: her parents, Luke and Mary Johnson of Rockingham; cousins, Martha Holt McGee of Sanford, Sarah Thompson of Naples, Fla., Mary Thompson of Virginia Beach, Va., Cameron Wicker of Beverly, Mass., Grey Wicker of Portland, Maine; and her godmother, Peggy Blue McIntosh of Laurinburg.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8 at Watson-King Funeral Home, Rockingham.
