Virginia M. Robinson
Virginia M. Robinson, 76, Cadiz, died Saturday, June 16, 2001, at her home. She was born in Harrison County, OH, on May 7, 1925, the daughter of the late Kersey T. Sargent and Leota Morgan Sargent.
She was a member of the Springdale Friends Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Robinson, in 1992.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald of Cadiz and Gary and his wife, Cathy, also of Cadiz; a daughter, Mrs. Terry (Wanda) Galey of Cadiz; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 19, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Elsie Dodd officiating. Burial will be at Olive Branch Cemetery, Harrisville. 

Doris Aukerman Russell
Doris Aukerman Russell, 90, of Cadiz, and formerly of Deersville, died Sunday, June 17, at the Harrison Community Hospital in Cadiz. She was born on June 4, 1911, in Massillon, OH, the daughter of the late Milton Huff and Katherin Pitts Huff.
A retired director of the Harrison County Board of Elections, she was a member of the Women's Association of Presbyterian Church; Unionport Chapter 360, Order of Eastern Star, Cadiz Aerie 2162 Fraternal of Eagles Auxiliary, Harrison County Democratic Women's Club. She was an avid piano player and, at one time, played in a local band.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Francis J. (Bun) Aukerman in 1974; her second husband, William H. Russell in 1998; and a brother, Herbert Huff.
Surviving are a stepson, W. Judson Russell of Rockwall, TX; three stepdaughters, Beverly DeSantis of Riverhead, NY, Jahcolyn Nelman of Ovledo, FL; Shelley Herter of Cassellberry, FL; 12 step grandchildren, several step great grandchildren; one step great great grandchild; a sister in law, Avis Huff of Uhrichsville, OH.
The Russell family, her neighbors and friends, including Lee and Donna Butler of Cadiz, will greatly miss her free and indomitable spirit.
Friends will be received at the Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home in Cadiz Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where the funeral will be Thursday, June 21, at 1 p.m. with Rev. William Hudson officiating. Burial will be at Cadiz Union Cemetery.

MRS. MARY PAYNE BOLITHO- 86 OF JEWETT, OHIO DIED TUESDAY NIGHT, JUNE 12, 2001 AT HARRISON CO. HOSPITAL. SHE WAS BORN IN PLEASANT GROVE, OHIO ON SEPT. 28, 1914 THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE JOHN AND DAISY BAKER PAYNE. SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY A DAUGHTER- MILDRED SKIPPER ON APRIL 26TH. 1991-- 9 BROTHERS- 5 SISTERS , 1 GRANDSON, 1 GREAT GRANDSON AND HER HUSBAND CLYDE BOLITHO IN 1994, WHOM SHE HAD MARRIED IN 1930.
MARY WAS A RETIRED SCIO POTTERY WORKER WITH OVER 20 YEARS OF SERVICE. SHE ALSO WAS A MEMBER OF THE JEWETT FIREMEN'S AUXILIARY AND THE JEWETT UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
MARY HAD BEEN AN AVID BOWLER AND, SHE WITH HER 4 DAUGHTERS , AS TEAMMATES, TOOK THE LADIES CHAMPIONSHIP IN 1965 AT THE VALLEY LANES IN JEWETT, OHIO.
MARY IS SURVIVED BY 5 DAUGHTERS - MRS. DOROTHY AND HER HUSBAND JOHN FORRO OF JEWETT, OHIO MRS.NANCY AND HER HUSBAND GEORGE BARNES OF NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO MRS.JEAN AND HER HUSBAND DONALD BLACKBURN OF JEWETT, OHIO MRS.BRENDA AND HER HUSBAND ROBERT FOWLER OF SCIO, OHIO MRS. Robert E. Liggett, 80, of Cadiz, OH, died Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at his home. He was born in Hopedale, OH, on January 31, 1921, the son of the late Albert Liggett and Vesta Liggett Liggett.
He was a retired Dragline Operator for Bedway and Cravat Coal Companies, and a US Air Force Veteran of WWII.
He was a member of Scott United Methodist Church, Cadiz.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Conrad; a brother, Walter Smith.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Sherry Conrad, Lakewood, OH; 1 sister, Lucille Huntsman Houze, Cadiz, OH; 1 step son, Henry Conrad, Cleveland, OH; 1 step daughter, Donna Jean Chapel; a number of nieces and nephews, including locally, Edward Smith of Cadiz.

Ethel Joann Stanco,63, Hopedale, OH, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2001 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, OH. She was born in Wheeling WV on May 7, 1938, the daughter of the late Victor H. Householder and Mary Ethel Miller Householder.
She was employed as a Department Head at Carriage Inn of Cadiz. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Stanco in 1998; 1 son, Robert Starkey; a twin sister, Ellen Householder.

Frank Dickerson
Frank Dickerson, 66, New Athens, OH, died Sunday, August 5, 2001 at his home. He was born at home in Harrison County, OH, on March 5, 1935, the son of John R. Dickerson and Marjorie Dunlap Dickerson. 
He was a retired Lumberjack and Road Construction Truck Driver. 
He was a member of Cadiz Congregation of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, an avid Flea Marketer, Gardner and Antique Tool Collector. 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Dickerson.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Hopkins Dickerson, New Athens, OH; 3 daughters, Connie Clark and her husband Don, New Athens, OH, Debbie Snelson and her husband Bill, Kearneysville, WV, Misty Engstrom and her husband Richard, Cadiz, OH; 5 grandchildren, Ryan Clark and his wife Jennie, Tonya Clark Jones and her husband Mike; Tessa Clark, David Snelson, and Savannah Engstrom; w brothers, Ronald Dickerson, Port St. Lucie, FL, Larry Dickerson, Cadiz, OH; 1 sister, Phillis Rankin Donoghue, Cadiz, OH.

Marian Walker
Marian Walker, 97, Cadiz, formerly of Deersville, OH, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2001 at the Harrison County Home, Cadiz, OH. She was born in Washington Twp., Harrison Co., OH on Nov. 2, 1903, the daughter of James and Alice Mallernee.
She was a retired employee of Scio Pottery, a clerical worker at several Cadiz area stores, a dear mother , a best friend and a hard worker.
She was a member of Deersville United Methodist Church and its Missionary Society.
She was a member of Cadiz Country club and a volunteer at Harrison Community Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Walker (July 5, 1925); a son, Vernon Walker (Jan. 21, 1957); 3 sisters; 2 brothers.
Surviving are a daughter, Virginia Vasbinder, Cadiz; twin grandsons, James and Jerry Walker, both of Columbus; 2 great grandsons, Alan Walker, San Francisco, Christopher Walker, Columbus; 1 great granddaughter, Jennifer Walker, Columbus.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. 
Burial will be at Patterson Cemetery, Deersville, OH.

Dorothy P. "Dottie'' Fray, 47, Scio, Ohio, died Tuesday, February 12, 2002 at her home.
She was born August 18, 1954 in East Canton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ora and Mary Lucille Foutty Jones.
She was a Laborer for D.L.H. in Carrollton and was formerly a Nurses Aid at the Carroll Health Center and Sunnyslope Retirement Center. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant brothers, Charles and Rickey Lee Jones. 
Surviving are her husband, Nick Fray; one son, Nicholas Fray and his wife, Kim, of Scio; one daughter, Peggy Fray of Scio; four grandchildren, Yvonne and Kayla Fray, Destiny Bland and Drake Fray; 4 brothers, Keith Jones of Magnolia, George Jones of Augusta, Kenny Jones of Scio and Dale Jones of Minerva; 6 sisters, Shirley Foehrenbach of Canton, Deloris Jean Kramer of Brewster, Velma Monk of Minerva and Frances Grogg of Scio.

Darl T. "Wheelwrench" Mallarnee, 55, Cadiz, OH, died Tues., Feb. 5, 2002 at Trinity Medical Center, West, Steubenville, OH. He was born Oct. 20, 1946 in Freeport, OH, the son of the late Glenn Thurman Mallarnee and Ruth McClintock Mallarnee.
He was a truck driver having worked for Cramblett Trucking.
He was a Marine Veteran of the Viet Nam Era and a member of Hopedale American Legion.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Mallarnee.
