Harry Kinyon
Cashmere, WA-- Harry Martin Kinyon, 77, retired rancher died Sunday
at a local hospital.
Mr. Kinyon was born in Plymouth, Mich., and resided in the Cashere,
WA, area for the past 48 years.
He was a member of the Mission Masonic Lodge. Surviving
are: his brother Charles Kinyon of West Branch, Mich., and his
step-mother, Mrs. Mabel Kinyon of Cashmere, WA. Kuelbs and Braun are

Mabel Kinyon
Cashmere, WA--Mabel Kinyon, 96, a pioneer resident of Cashmere,
WA, died in a Wenatchee nursing home Wednesday.
She was born on Nov. 4, 1875, in Ontario, Canada. She grew
to womanhood in Canada. Her family moved to the Dakota Territory in the
late 1880s. She attended school in North Dakota and married Martin Kinyon
in North Dakota in 1901. They came west to Seattle, going to Cashmere,
WA, in 1910. They operated a fruit ranch here.
Mr. Kinyon died in 1914 and she and her son Harry operated
the ranch until his death in 1957.
She was a member of Cashmere United Methodist Church, Vale
Chapter of Order of Eastern Star, and the Cashmere Amaranth.
Surviving are four nieces, Mabel Taylor, and Olive Findley,
both of Cashmere, WA, Fanny Casey, Detroit Lakes, Minn., and Jessie
MacKibben, Oceanside, Calif.; and three newphew, Pete Slingsby, Williston,
N.D. and Harry and Minor Slingsby, both of Wenatchee.
The Braun Funeral Home, Cashmere, WA, is in charge of arrangements.

Cashmere 10/26 Funeral services for JD Baylee, 65, who lost his life
in an accident near Manson Wednesday will be held Sat at 2 pm from the
Kuelbs and Braun funeral home in Cashmere, WA. Burial in the Cashmere,
WA, cemetery.
Born 10-15-1885 in Grandin, ND he later moved to Alberta, Canada -
lived there until 1945 when he moved to cashmere operated an orchard near

Clara N. Baylee
Cashmere, WA,-- Clara N. Baylee, 90, a long time Cashmere fruit grower,
died Wednesday, July 9, 1986, in a Wenatchee convalescent center.
She was born Clara N. Brunton, March 7, 1896 in Ozawkie,
Kan. She moved to Spokane and then to Monitor in 1907 with her family where
she was raised and attended school.
She married Herman Gockley in 1912. She later married John
D. Baylee, July 23, 1945, in Manson. He Preceded her in death in 1950.
Mrs. Baylee had been an orchardist in Cashmere, WA, for 60 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Sim, Cashmere, WA, and Doris DeFigh,
Monitor, a brother, H. Frank Brunton, East Wenatchee; a sister, Jennie
Smith, East Wenatchee; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, three brothers and two sisters.
