She worked for Marks-English Hospital several years and was active in numerous civic organizations, a longtime member of Glen Rose First United Methodist Church and recently received the Transit System Award. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luba LeBoeuf, on Jan. 25, 1995.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Modesto Resendez, in 1962; daughter, Severa G. Lara, in 1995; grandson, Alejandro Gomez, in 1985; and great-granddaughter, Lauren Gomez, in 1994.

Ken Ure was born Dec. 27, 1910, in Fulton, N.Y.

He attended school in Fulton, N.Y., and was a graduate of Colgate University and Syracuse University of Law where he attained a Doctorate of Juris Law. He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II. He practiced law in New York state and Massachusetts. He married Fay Reed in 1959 and they lived in Fort Worth until 1977, when they moved to Weatherford.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church, where he taught the Keystone Sunday School Class many years. He taught business law at Weatherford College and was chairman of the Parker County Committee on Aging and its Housing Authority. He served many years as volunteer legal service for Parker County Senior Citizens.

Mrs. Wiley attended school in Fort Worth and Weatherford. She lived in Hobart, Okla., from the early 1920s until September 1930, when they moved to the Fort Worth area.
