Luveda Cooper was born Jan. 7, 1910, in Weatherford.

She was a resident of Weatherford most of her life, a member of the Pythian Sisters and a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church.

Her husband, Tom Cooper, preceded her in death in April, 1975.

FORT WORTH -- Alma Faye Warnock Crummel, 80, a retired teacher and supervisor of the Fort Worth Day Care Center, died Tuesday at home.

Funeral: 4 p.m. today at Birchman Baptist Church. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth.

Faye Warnock Crummel was born Feb. 5, 1916, in Pheonix, Miss. She graduated from Mississippi Woman's College in 1938 with a degree in English and history. She became a teacher for the next six years in Mississippi, where she taught social studies and coached girls' basketball. She later received a business degree from Bowling Green University and worked for the Engineering Department at Tennessee Eastman, a division of Kodak, during World War II.

She was married Oct. 12, 1947, to Alfred R. Crummel in a double wedding ceremony with her twin sister, Maye Martin. In 1948, she moved to Fort Worth. After raising four sons, Mrs. Crummel worked as a supervisor for the Fort Worth Day Care Center until her retirement in 1981.

Mrs. Crummel was an active member of Birchman Baptist Church for 48 years. She taught in the preschool department for many years and was a member of the Friendship Class and Senior Citizen "Live Wires." She loved to travel and garden and was a sports enthusiast.

Charles Priddy Jr. was born in Fort Worth, where he attended high school and then Texas Christian University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. He received his Master's degree in education from North Texas State University.

He worked 21 years for the Austin Independent School District as a counselor at Anderson High School. He was a member of Cypress Creek Baptist Church in Cedar Park and taught Sunday School there.

Charles loved to fish and hunt. He was a member of the National Wild Turkey foundation. He also loved all kinds of sports. One of his greatest pleasures was watching his daughter play volleyball and his sons play football. He was always there to cheer them on.
