She was a fantastic cook, a quilt maker and taught catechism classes and Spanish.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ponciano, in 1966; a son, Daniel, in 1982; and a daughter, Consuelo "Connie" Kennedy, in 1980.

GRAND PRAIRIE -- Franklin Y. Wilhite, 80, a retired General Motors final inspection employee, died Saturday in Arlington.

Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Wilhite was born Oct. 8, 1915, in Bowie. He was a member of the American Legion in Grand Prairie.

He was preceded in death by a son, James Wilhite.

Survivors: Wife, Juanita Stroud Wilhite of Grand Prairie; sons, Billy Wilhite and Donald Wilhite, both of Arlington, Larry Wilhite and Steven Wilhite, both of Grand Prairie; daughter, Veleta Dalley of Washington; brothers, Boss Wilhite of Bowie and Bill Wilhite of Amarillo; sisters, Bonnie Halpin of Mabank and Johnnie Mae Romine of Bowie; 18 grandchildren; and numerous great- grandchildren.

Millie Wilson
COMANCHE -- Millie "Bea" Wilson, 79, died Saturday at an Austin hospital.

Funeral: 10:30 a.m. today at Comanche Funeral Home: Burial: Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche.

Officiating: Rev. Don Longoria.

Millie Wilson was born Nov. 24, 1916, in Tom Green County. She was one of eight children born to William Wilson and Audra Hicks Wilson. She worked as a waitress at a Fort Worth hotel for many years.

Survivors: Sisters, Peggy Rauhut of Austin and Alma Williams of Lubbock; and many nieces and nephews.

Cathy Wittman
SAGINAW -- Cathy Wittman, 66, a retired retail salesperson, died Friday in Saginaw.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park.

She was a 48-year resident of Fort Worth. She retired from Dillard's Department Store in December 1995 and while there, received many Pacesetter Awards. She was also a member of Haltom City Christian Church.

Survivors: Two sons, Marvin Wittman III of Euless, Kirk R. Wittman of Los Angeles, Calif., two daughters, Cathy Sue Fox, Karen L. Gibb, both of Saginaw; brother, Donald Bollman of Illinois; sister-in-law, Betty Fisher of Haslet; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
