Jack Wilson Brown, more lovingly referred to as the Right Reverend J. Willie Brown, died peacfully Sunday morning at home. He was born June 16, 1921, in Abilene.
He served in the Army Air Corps in World War II. He retired after 35 years in the carpet industry and celebrated 27 years of recovery while helping countless others in AA. We love you.

AZLE -- John J. "Rock" Flynn, 60, a retired Air Force chief master sergeant and a real estate appraiser, died Friday at a Fort Worth medical center.

Mr. Flynn was born March 17, 1936, in Somerville, Mass.
He joined the Air Force in 1954. He met and married his wife of 40 years, Doris, in Tucson, Ariz. Together they had 23 years of service and retired in 1976 in Azle where he ran a successful real estate appraisal business and was active in professional and civic organizations. Rock was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Rock was a motivator and promoter of family values and education and will be remembered for this. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Flynn.

Bertha L. Whitted
HALTOM CITY -- Bertha Louise Whitted, 67, a homemaker, died Thursday at a North Richland Hills hospital.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. today in Mount Olivet cemetery.
Bertha Louise Whitted was born Jan. 16, 1929, in Fort Worth, and lived in the Fort Worth area for 25 years. She was a member of Fort Worth Chapter of Harley Owner's Motorcycle Group.
Survivors: Husband, Cecil O. Whitted of Haltom City; and mother, Mary Gladys Folowell of Haltom City.
