Mrs. G.C. (Willie) Bevel was born Oct. 30, 1895, in Mansfield and graduated from Diamond Hill High School in 1914. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church for 50 years.

She was the last family member in her generation of the Jeter, Fenney and Bevel families.

While in High School, she also attended Central Texas College of Cosmetology where she attained her cosmetologist license. She was employed with her stepmother for a short time. Later she was employed by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Currently, she was employed as an air brush technician with Medical Plastics Laboratory. She was member of Hay Valley Baptist Church.

Robert M. Hiscock was born Sept. 9, 1933, in Kalamazoo, Mich. On Feb. 9, 1997, Bob ended his struggle with cancer. He was a brave and valiant warrior. He fought with zeal to live for his beloved grandson Elliott. His wife and his daughter will sorely miss him. He fought the good fight of faith and now the race is won.

He was a lifetime member of the Full Gospel Business Men's Association. He was very active in the Tarrant County Big Brothers Association for several years. He had two Little Brothers in the association. He was a member of Christ's Church in Wedgewood, where he sang in the choir for 16 years. He helped start a new church -- Dunamis Ministries in Fort Worth. And he served his country in the Navy.

William Mask was born Feb. 20, 1921, in Perrin. Dr. Mask married Clara Cromeans on Dec. 30, 1944, in Houston. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He had his medical practice in Jacksboro. Dr. Mask was a member of the Texas Medical Association. He was a charter member of the American Academy of Family Practice, director of Burzynski Research Institute in Houston and of the chamber of commerce. He was a longtime member of the Lions Club and an honorary member of the Lost Battalion. He served in the Marine Corps and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving as lieutenant commander. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Woody Myers was born Feb. 1, 1913, in Gamaliel, Ark. He was a resident of Arlington since 1950 and was a former resident of Oklahoma City, Okla. He was the owner and operator of Myers Automotive Service in Dallas. He was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Arlington. He retired in 1973.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sylvia.

He retired from AAFES at Fort Hood in 1984. He lived many years in Mineral Wells and for 18 years in Killeen. He had moved to Fort Worth in 1991, then to Ranger due to failing health in 1996. He was a member of Burton Hill Baptist Church of Fort Worth.
