FORT WORTH -- Bobby Gene Frazier, 64, a retired paint contractor, died Saturday in Fort Worth.

Bobby Gene Frazier was born Dec. 15, 1932, in Hollis, Okla. He served in the Coast Guard from 1950 to 1956. He worked as a paint contractor for a number of years before retiring in 1995.

Mr. Frazier was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Matthews, on March 4, 1995.

Harry Kearley Jr. was born Sept. 5, 1931, in La Place, La. He attended Arlington Heights High School and played football. He also attended the University of Texas. He was a Marine Corps veteran.

Zack Leatherwood
AGNES -- Zack Leatherwood, 76, a retired employee of Swift & Co. and a farmer, died Saturday at a Fort Worth hospital.

Funeral: 10 a.m. today at Agnes Baptist Church. Burial: Springtown Cemetery.

Zack Leatherwood was born in the Poolville area Dec. 6, 1920, and passed from this life to heaven into the presence of his Lord on Dec. 21, 1996, at a Fort Worth hospital, at the age of 76 years and 15 days. He was a member of Agnes Baptist Church.

He spent his early years on farms near Poolville and ToTo with his father, seven brothers and two sisters, having lost his mother at 12 years old.

He served his country in the Army during World War II from 1942 until 1945.

He married Levia Howard, his wife of 54 years, on June 28, 1942, in Weatherford. To this union were born four daughters and one son, who loved him dearly.

Zack worked at the Swift & Co. meatpacking plant for more than 20 years while farming and raising cattle at the same time. After Swift & Co. closed in 1968, he built, owned and operated Leatherwood's Feed and Grocery Store, three miles west of Springtown.

Zack was a kind and loving friend to everyone he met. He was the kind of man who generated compassion with a personality that brought lifelong memories. He said what he meant, did what he said, and his word was his bond. He was the kind of man every boy wants to be and the kind of man every old man wishes he had been.

Zack trusted Jesus Christ as his eternal Savior and is resting in His presence today.

Ruby M. McDougal was born Sept. 12, 1907, in Olustee, Okla., to D.C. and Emma C. Felkner Martin. She married Luther H. McDougal in Lawton, Okla., on Jan. 17, 1933. He died June 13, 1984. She lived in Broken Arrow, Okla., from 1933 to 1937, when she moved to Fort Worth. Later she moved back to Lawton, where she lived for 20 years. In 1984, she moved back to Fort Worth. She was a Baptist.

OCEANSIDE, Calif. -- Truman B.E. Wynns, 74, a carpenter, died Friday at a hospital in Vista, Calif.

His grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Truman B.E. Wynns was born Nov. 20, 1922, in Fort Worth. He was a master finish carpenter and worked with the Wm. Cameron Co. He also worked as an upholsterer with the A. Brandt Co. On Sept. 3, 1996, he proudly received his 25 Years of Sobriety medal from Alcoholics Anonymous.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, J.C. Leroy Wynns and Earl Wynns, and his sister, Patricia Pullen.
