ALICE - Esther E. Schuette Seaton, a homemaker and member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, died June 24, 1999. She was 82.
Survivors include four daughters, Betty Monse of Victoria, Earline Paul of San Antonio, Mary Ann Berry of Sandia and Sherill Perez of Alice; four sons, Ben Schuette of Orange Grove, Randy Schuette of McAllen, and Francis and Howard Schuette, both of Corpus Christi; four sisters, Frieda Mae Brown of Bon Wier, Elizabeth Cawyer of San Angelo, Ruth Lykins of Alice and Edna Lee Ratley of Yoakum; 22 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Walter F. Walton, a World War II veteran and member of VFW and the Texas Cattlemen's Association, died June 23, 1999. He was 75.
Survivors include his wife, Toni; three sons, Randall Walton of Victoria, Ross Walton of Houston and Lawrence Stritch Jr. of Pacifica, Calif.; a daughter, Patricia Bowden of Corpus Christi; two brothers, John Walton of Robstown and Buck Walton of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Lizzie Craighead of Kingsville and Nettie Adams of Baytown; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

HOUSTON - Robert Hamilton Montgomery, owner of the RHM Group of Houston, a former employee of Corpus Christi's McCormick Steel and a member of Corpus Christi Country Club, Church of the Good Shepherd and Corpus Christi Town Club, died June 26, 1999. He was 64.
Survivors include his son, Robert H. Montgomery III of Austin; a daughter, Mimi Smith of Austin; his mother, Margaret Montgomery of Lancaster; a brother, Dan Montgomery of Houston; a sister, Jan Osborn; and two grandchildren.

Oscar G. Rokohl
ORANGE GROVE - Oscar G. Rokohl, owner and operator of Oscar's Exxon Service Station, a former trustee on Orange Grove School Board and past director of Hocheim Prairie Insurance and the Orange Grove Rifle Club, died June 26, 1999. He was 76.
Survivors include his wife, Madeline; a daughter, June Rokohl of Corpus Christi; four sons, Henry Rokohl of Corpus Christi; Bruce Rokohl of Houston, and Joe and Don Rokohl, both of Orange Grove; a sister, Madeline Boehm of Mathis; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

ALICE - Elvira Vera, a homemaker and a Pentecostal, died June 23, 1999. She was 93.
Survivors include a daughter, Elvira Taylor of Fredricksburg; four sons, Alex Muniz of Port Lavaca, Luis Vera of Pearsall, Rafael Vera of Alice and Evaristo Vera Jr. of Kenedy; a brother, Adolfo Hernandez of Belton; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

ROBSTOWN - J.O. "Bunky" Adcock, an Army veteran of the Korean War and a truck driver, died June 28, 1999. He was 68.
Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Cusack of Corpus Christi, Teresa Quintana of Denver and Brenda Green of Memphis, Tenn.; a son, Johnny Adcock of San Angelo; two sisters, Nina Hammons of Abilene and Ann Porter of Dickens; two brothers, Pete Adcock of Texarkana and Cecil Adcock of Mesquite; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

James T. Braselton Jr.
James T. Braselton Jr., former president of Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants Corpus Christi Chapter, a member of Corpus Christi Business and Estate Planning Council, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Parkway Presbyterian Church, died June 26, 1999. He was 55.
Survivors include his wife, Judy; his mother, Mildred Braselton of Corpus Christi; and a sister, Ginger Collins of Lufkin.
