Jude Morris
Graveside services for Jude Morris, 85, of Dallas, formerly of Kilgore, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Danville Cemetery with the Rev. David Hampton officiating. Mr. Morris died Thursday, Sept. 16, 1999 in Dallas.
He was born in Williford, Ark. July 11, 1914 to Emanuel and Tina Morris. He served in the Army during World War II, and he was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Freda Morris of Dallas, formerly of Kilgore; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Richard Ladd of Richardson; two grandsons, Zachary Ladd of College Station and Matthew Ladd of Richardson; a sister, Pearl Rader of Golliad; three sisters-in-law, Stella Mae Morris of Kilgore, Evelyn Morris of Williford, and Ernestine Morris of Hardy, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Rader Funeral Home Saturday from 9 until 10:30 a.m.

Aline Sarver
OVERTON - Services for Aline Sarver, 92, of Baytown and formerly of Overton, will be 2 p.m Saturday at the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Baker officiating. Interment will be in the Overton City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be deacons of the First Baptist Church in Overton.
Mrs. Sarver died Thursday, Sept. 16, 1999 in a Baytown nursing home.
She was born Tuesday, Aug. 6, 1907 in Louisiana to the late Albert and Leticia Mouton Toles. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Overton. Mrs. Sarver had been a resident of Overton most of her life before moving to Baytown in December, 1998.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Robert Sarver, and three daughters, Bertie Hale, Betty Joyce Mitchell, and Margie Sarver.
Survivors include three grandchildren, Beverly Hale and Patrick Hale, both of Midland, and Vickie Lowrey of Overton; and by a niece, Grace Swick of Baytown.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6:30 until 8 p.m.

Chester Russell
Services for Chester Russell of Kilgore will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Hope with Revs. J.E. Lister and T.E. Wady officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery under the direction of James E. Lister's Funeral Home.
Mr. Russell was a groundman laborer.
Survivors include a brother-in-law and wife, Leon and Lola Sanders of Kilgore; a sister, Sarah Russell Hayes of Kilgore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 7 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

JEFFREY BROWN McKNIGHT
Funeral for Jeffrey McKnight, 20, of Longview, is set for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Woodfin Chapel in Murfreesboro, Tenn. with Robert Vick officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. Local arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.
Mr. McKnight died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born Dec. 28, 1978, in Murfreesboro, Tenn. He was employed by Bemis Custom Products as a printing assistant.
Survivors include his wife, Nicole McKnight of Longview; his parents, Donna and Roger Gee of Longview and James Porter and Virginia McKnight of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a brother, James McKnight of Longview; three sisters, Tiffany Gee and Jessica Gee of Longview and Katie McKnight of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; his grandparents, Sammie and Pauline Brown of Rockvale, Tenn. and James Porter and Louise McKnight of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends in the Woodfin Chapel in Murfreesboro, Tenn. on Friday, 4 to 8 p.m.

BETTY JANE MYERS IVINS
TYLER - Services for Mrs. Betty Jane Myers Ivins, 72, of Tyler, are set for 9:30 a.m. Friday in Tyler Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Vernis Stanaland and Elder Clifford Gowens officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Crown Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Dallas. Services are under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler.
Mrs. Ivins died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, in a Tyler hospital.
She was born Nov. 23, 1926, in Amarillo. Mrs. Ivins resided in Tyler since 1992 when she moved from Dallas. She was a member of Tyler Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ivins was preceded in death by her husband, Blake Ivins in 1980 and her son, Ronald Blake Ivins.
Survivors include a son, David Ivins of Kilgore; two daughters, Cherrel Rybolt of North Hampton, Mass. and Cindy Segafredo of Columbia, Mo.; a sister, Frances Crawford of Tulsa, Okla.; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, 7 to 8:30 p.m.

OLGA BROYLES HART
LONGVIEW - Graveside services for Olga Broyles Hart, 95, of Longview, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Simpsonville Cemetery with Ritchie Hamm officiating. Services are under the direction of Welch Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hart died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, in Brookshire.
She was born June 6, 1904, in Lockney. Mrs. Hart was a member of Pine Tree Church of Christ in Longview.
Mrs. Hart was preceded in death by her husband, William Hardy Hart.
She was the mother of Bill and Mary Hart of Hobbs, N.M., Hugh Hart of Longview, Bob and Anne Hart of Lindale and Lynda and Jerry Wickliffe of Brookshire; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, a sister, Beverly West of Houston, two sisters-in-law, Cecil Hart of Kilgore and Rose Hart of Gladewater and many nieces and nephews.

JOSH RANDALL MORGAN
Services for Josh Randall Morgan, infant son of Amanda Fair and Tim Morgan of Kilgore will be held 2 p.m., Monday, July 29, 2002 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with the Rev. Riley Pippen officiating. Burial will follow in the Kilgore Cemetery.
Josh was born June 29, 2002 in Kilgore and passed away July 26 in Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Ark.
He is survived by his parents, Amanda Fair and Tim Morgan of Kilgore; maternal grandparent, Wendy Stafford of Odessa; paternal grandparents, Diane Whitehead, Timothy Morgan, Sr. and Jimmy Webster all of Kilgore; maternal great-grandparents, Randy and Margie Fair of Kilgore; maternal great-great-grandmother, Lois Stevenson of Kilgore; paternal great-great -grandmother, Elizabeth Whitehead of Kilgore; aunt, Tiffany Morgan of Kilgore; and numerous other loving family.

WILMA GAIL PARISH
ARP — Services for Wilma Gay Parish, 95, Arp, will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2002 in Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home Chapel with Ron Lowrance officiating. Burial will follow at Mason Cemetery, Arp.
Pallbearers will be Jake Bradford, Robert Parish, Wayne Thomas, Mark Parish, Andy Parish and Josh Parish.
Mrs. Parish died Friday, July 26, 2002 in a New London Nursing Home.
She was born July 17, 1907 in Trenton, Tenn. to White and Mary Nelson Anderson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Arp Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Parish; two sons, Hubert and Norman Parish; one grandson, Noel Arnold Parish; one great-grandson, Damion Parish; and nine brothers and sisters; and her parents.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Harold L. and Ann L. Parish of Henderson, Ed and Mary Parish of Troup, Don and Anne Parish of Lake Cherokee and Billy and Nita Parish of Arp; two brothers, Andy Anderson of Tyler and Robert G. Anderson of Houston; one sister, Helen Funderburgh of Whitehouse; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

RACHEL NORTHCUTT
Services for Mrs. Rachel Northcutt, 83, of Kilgore will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Danville Cemetery with the Reverend David Hampton officiating. Mrs. Northcutt passed away Saturday, July 27, 2002 at her residence in Kilgore.
She was born July 13, 1919 in Converse, Texas, the daughter of the late Edward and Callie Graves. She was a devoted mother and wife, a charter member of the Eastview Baptist Church and was a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #630.
She is survived by husband of 62 years, Johnnie A. Northcutt of Kilgore; son, Johnnie A. Northcutt, Jr. and wife Linda of Overton; two daughters, Renae Heilman and husband Richard of Albuquerque, N.M. and Barbara Northcutt Kline of Longview; granddaughter, Renae Stewart and husband Anthony of Longview; two great-grandchildren, John Stewart and Vickey Lynn Stewart both of Longview; brother, Marvin Graves of La.; sister, Dorothy Dempsey of Tulsa, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.

WANDA WASHINGTON
Graveside services for Wanda “Mimi” Washington, 72, of Kilgore will be held 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002 at the Kilgore Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

VIRGINIA LUWILDA FLATT
Services for Virginia LuWilda Flatt, 79, of Longview, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2002, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel, 1617 Judson Rd., Longview, with Rev. Doug Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow at Kilgore City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be J. D. “Jimbo” Trimble, Wayne Morrison, Ted Wolboldt, Bruce Ragin, Batte Peterson and Bobby Frazier. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Wyche, Jerry Parsons, Jim Clark and Reed Ross.
Mrs. Flatt died Friday, July 26, 2002.
LuWilda will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alvin Spivey Flatt; son, A. Jerry Flatt; and daughter, Sherry Anne Flatt.
Survivors include one son, Kelly Flatt of Longview; two daughters, Donna Sumrow and Sandy Haferkamp both of Longview; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Les and Wanda Potts of Eufala, Okla.; two sisters, Mable Clark of Calif. and Ruby Stolick of Okla.; sister-in-law, Jimmy Owens of Kilgore; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

WANDA WASHINGTON
Graveside services for Mrs. Wanda “Mimi” Washington, 72, a twenty-nine year resident of Kilgore will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2002 at the Kilgore Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Rose Wright, formerly a chaplain with Hospice Longview, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.
She died Sunday, July 28, 2002 at her residence after a lengthy illness.
She was born May 7, 1930 in Prescott, Ark., the daughter of the late Birty Calton and Mary Jane Armstrong. She was a member of the Eastview Baptist Church, The Gregg County Civil Air Patrol and the Order of the Eastern Star No. 630.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Odis “George” Washington.
Survivors include her daughter, Deanna Doss of Kilgore; four grandchildren, Sgt. C.D. Washington and his wife Cpl. Bretney Washington, Stephanie Doss, Lisa Renee Doss and Michael Allen Doss; three sisters, Annie McSweeney of Palestine, Cedalia Whitsell of The Colony, Naomi Hardeman of San Antonio; two brothers, Oral Armstrong of Trinidad and Murphy Armstrong of San Antonio; several nieces, nephews and other loving family.

BOBBY EUGENE TOMLINSON
Services for Bobby Eugene Tomlinson, 63, of Kilgore will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2002 at the Rader Funeral Home.
Mr. Tomlinson died Saturday, July 27, 2002.
Mr. Tomlinson was born April 9, 1939 in Durant, Okla., to Eugene and Jewell Tomlinson. He has been a resident of Kilgore since 1980, worked for Steelman Industries and enjoyed playing golf with friends.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Tomlinson of Austin and Russell Tomlinson of Wylie; one brother, Wayne Tomlinson of Lubbuck; three sisters, Wanda Glenn of Tahoka, Shirley Jenkins of Odessa and Carol Henry of Midland; and several nieces and nephews.

Billie Maydell (Burge) Haney
Services for Mrs. Billie Maydell (Burge) Haney, 85, of Schulenburg formerly of Kilgore will be held at ten o’clock a.m., Saturday, August 3, 2002 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore with the Reverend Robert Besser officiating. Burial will follow in the Kilgore Cemetery. Mrs. Haney died Wednesday in a Weimar, Texas hospital.
She was born September 11, 1916 in Mexia, Texas the daughter of the late Otha Lee Burge and Mattie Mae Lewis. She was a graduate of Mexia High School and was united in marriage to Robert Roe Haney, August 27, 1937 and both were longtime members of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Haney was preceded in death by her husband Robert Roe Haney and a brother Lewis Burge.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Bob and Patti Haney of Schulenburg; two grandchildren Bobby and Lauren Haney, both of Schulenburg.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from six until eight o’clock p.m.

MARGARET MORRISON DYE
Services for Margaret Morrison Dye, 93, of McAlester, Okla., were 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002 at New Haven Bible Baptist Church under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service. Rev. Marvin Dunn officiated.
Honorary pallbearers were Tracy Darwin Petton, Troy Alan Ingram, Marty Eugene Trout, Warren Reese Rowe, Chance Michael Reeves, Darren Keith Hutchings, Jeffrey Dale Hutchings, Dustin Cash Halliburton, Ryan Matthew Halliburton, Major Jackson Rogers, Teagin Eli Rogers, Joe Dean Wilson, D.L. Wilson, Royston Wilson, Noah Morrison and Dustin Tate.
Mrs. Dye died Tuesday, July 30, 2002 at a nursing center in McAlester, Okla.
She was born Aug. 15, 1909 in Pollard, Okla., to Jefferson William and Anna Watkins Wilmoth. She married T.E. Morrison Sr. on April 29, 1938 in Gilmer. While in Texas, she was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars ladies auxiliary and senior citizens. She moved from Texas to McAlester 12 years ago. Mrs. Dye enjoyed dancing, cooking, riding horses and crocheting. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jefferson and Anna Wilmoth; her husband, T.E. Morrison Sr.; two sons, Joe Dean Wilson and Gerald Glenn Wilson; one brother, William Jefferson Wilmoth; and a sister, Mary Iva McGuire.
Survivors include one sister, Irene Saunders of Clayton, Okla.; one brother, George Wilmoth of Kansas City, Kansas; nine children, Cora Mae Collins of Ft. Scott, Mary Berg of Longview, Betty Jo Minnick of Marlow, Okla., Francis Nicholson of Greensboro, N.C., John Morrison of Ft. Worth, S.W. Morrison of Vacaville, Calif., Guy Lenn Wilson of Longview, Shari Stevens of Haileyville, Okla., and Eoline Withers-Halliburton of McAlester, Okla.; three step-sons, Sanford Morrison of Wolfe City, Claude Morrison of Archer City and Don Morrison of Stratford, Okla.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Danny Lee Isaac
Services for Danny Lee Isaac, 49, of Tatum, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002 at the Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore with the Rev. Robert Besser officiating.
Mr. Isaac died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002 in Fannin County.
He was born Jan. 10, 1953 in Houston to A.J. and Lois Isaac. He was a master electrician and a United States Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two sons, Allston Isaac of Tatum and James Hill of Saginaw; four brothers, Charles Edward Isaac, Sr. of Athens, Jerry Isaac of Hot Springs, Ark., James Thomas Isaac, Sr. of Longview, and Kenneth Wayne Isaac of Kilgore; two sisters, Lillian Ruth Isaac Hooper of Bentonville, Ark. and Marilyn Lois Isaac Jones of Kansas City, Mo.; and several neices, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other loving family.

Betty Jo Northcutt Moore
Services for Betty Jo Northcutt Moore, 57, of Kilgore, will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore with the Rev. Darren Harlan officiating. Burial will follow in the Kilgore Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002 at her home.
She was born Feb. 26, 1945 in DeKalb to Allie and Harold Austin. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, H.L. and Clifford Northcutt.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Lee Moore of Kilgore; two daughters, Nancy Propes and Leeann Moore both of Longview; one son, Clifford Moore of Houston; two grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and several nieces, nephews, and other loving family.

Doris Gaudet
Services for Doris Gaudet, 69, of Kilgore, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002 in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Mr. Kevin Donohue officiating. Burial will follow in the Kilgore Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Gaudet died on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002 at her residence.
She was born Nov. 11, 1932 in Kilgore, Texas to Jeff and Nona Gable. Mrs. Gaudet was a 1950 graduate of Kilgore High School and a graduate of Kilgore Nursing School. She married L.J. Gaudet June 20, 1959. Mrs. Gaudet had been director of Nursing, head of the Emergency Medical Services and the Emergency Room Nurses at Roy H. Laird Memorial Hospital. She was an active volunteer in the Kilgore Boys Baseball Association where she had served as president of the Mother’s Auxiliary. Mrs. Gaudet was devoted to her family and nursing.
She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Gaudet of Victor, Idaho, Bobby and Susan Reyes of Plano, Mack and Joan Gaudet of Kilgore, Larry and Letha Gaudet of Kilgore; one daughter, Terry Kornegay of Kilgore; eight grandchildren, Randi DeShazer and her husband Dion of Kilgore, Josh Gaudet of Kilgore, James Reyes of Dallas, Brandon Burress of Leverett’s Chapel, Amy Reyes of Plano, Grant Gaudet of Victor, Idaho, Clay Gaudet of Kilgore, Ty Gaudet of Kilgore; one great-grandson, Grayson DeShazer; two nephews, David Peck and Keith Peck; special friends, Sandra Ashby, Shirley Platt, Jenny Dreadin, Barbara Wood, Jan Smith, and Mary Barnhart.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Jimmy Gene and Jimmie Faye Myers for their abundant care and devotion.
She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one granddaughter, Angel Gaudet, and a sister, Jeffrice Peck.

Storey Franklin Sheppard
CLARKSVILLE — Services for Storey Franklin Sheppard, 68, of Kilgore, formerly of Clarksville, Texas, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002 at the Lindeman Chapel in Clarksville with the Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial wil follow in the Annona Cemetery near Clarksville. Arrangements are under the direction of Bill Clarksville Funeral Home.
Mr. Sheppard passed away Monday, Aug. 5, 2002 in Longview, Texas.
He was born May 16, 1934 in English, Texas the son of the late Zeno and Mabel Storey Sheppard. Mr. Sheppard was retired from the lumber industry in Longview. He also served in the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Bray Sheppard of Kilgore; two sons, Mark Sheppard of Carrollton and Kerry Sheppard of Mesquite; two brothers, Wayne Sheppard of Carrollton and Jerry Sheppard of Fort Worth; and five grandchildren, Michael, Jeff, Staci, Mallory and Brooke.

Kevin Wayne Currie/Baker
Services for Kevin Wayne Currie/Baker, 15, of College Station, formerly of Liberty City, will be 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2002 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Hampton officiating. There will also be a 3 p.m. service Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002 at the Memorial Funeral Chapel of College Station. Burial will follow in the College Station Cemetery.
Mr. Currie/Baker died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002 as the results of an automobile accident in Gladewater.
He was born Aug. 30, 1986 in Bryan and attended Sabine schools and A&M Consolidated High School in College Station. Kevin was a member of Boy Scout Troop 259 in Liberty City, and enjoyed drawing, computers, swimming and fishing.
Survivors include his parents, Sandra Baker of College Station, Lee Baker of White Oak and Jimmie (Bodie) Currie of Florida; sister, Elizabeth Baker of College Station; brother, Christopher Baker of College Station; grandparents, Ann Chase of Bryan, Alvin Dombart of Iola, Jim and Betty Baker of Kilgore; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

Services for Imogene Hill Tidwell, 69, of Kilgore, will be 10 a.m. Friday Aug. 9, 2002 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Brother Brad Horton and the Rev. Don Beebe officiating. Burial will follow in the Kilgore Cemetery.
Mrs. Tidwell died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002 at her residence.
She was born Jan. 8, 1933 in Italy, Texas to Ernest and Emma Lola Johns. She was a homemaker and a memebr of Faith Baptist Church in Kilgore.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, Danny Wayne Murphy and Gary Lynn Murphy; daughter, Helen Joyce Georgepul; sister, Pauline Childress; brother, E.E. Johns, Jr.; and her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Darriel Tidwell of Kilgore; six daughters, Patricia Sue Stewart, Helen Hill, Brenda Tidwell, Debbie Hill, all of Kilgore, Mary McCool of Oklahoma and Becky Miller of Gilmer; three sons, Steven Ray Hill, Nicky Georgepul, and Jimmy Tidwell, all of Kilgore; one sister, Sue Hendrix of Kilgore; three brothers, Kenneth Johns, Leroy Johns and Jamie Johns, all of Kilgore; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
