Guadalupe Botello
PECOS -- Guadalupe G. Botello, 64, of Pecos, a mechanic and auto salesman, died Tuesday, March 17, 1998, at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Antonio Mena officiating. Rosary was said Thursday, March 19, 1998, at Matinez Funeral Home. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Bruni and was a lifetime resident of Monahans. He was Catholic.
Survivors: Wife, Delma Christina Botello of Monahans; parents, Francisco Botello and Matilde Garcia; son, Juan (Johnny) of Monahans; three daughters, Betty Williams of Columbus, Ohio; Christina Abila and Joann Marin, both of Monahans; brother, Jose G. Botello of Odessa; and nine grandchildren.

KERMIT -- Charles R. Counts, 74, of Kermit, a retired environmental engineer, died Wednesday, March 18, 1998, at Kermit Health Care Center.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at belvue Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Braswell officiating. Burial will be at Kermit Cemetery.

He was born in Purdy, Mo., and was a 13-year resident of Kermit. He was a veteran of the Navy. He was a Baptist.

He was born in Holly, Colo., and moved to Lubbock six years ago from Odessa. He was a Baptist.

He was born in Crow, and moved to Odessa in 1937 from Corsicana. He was a World War II veteran. He was as a Baptist.

GRAHAM -- Wilda D. Lasly, 70, of Graham, died Friday, March 13, 1998, in Graham.

ODESSA -- Ethel Edwina Ward Haner Russell, 97, of Odessa, a retired English teacher, died Saturday, March 21, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

She was born in Scurry County, and she earned a master of arts degree from the University of Texas in 1931. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by the grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren of Frank Haner of Odessa.

ODESSA -- Jettie Mae Salmon, 85, of Odessa, a co-founder of G.Q. Salmon & Son, died Sunday, March 22, 1998, at Derrings Nursing Home.

She was born in Olney and married Guy Q. Salmon in 1931. She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Hospital Auxillary and Eastern Star.
