COAHOMA -- Quinon H. Reid, 78, of Coahoma, died on Saturday, Feb. 21, 1998 in a local hospital.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Coahoma Church of Christ with Russell Mullins officiating. Burial with full military rites will follow at Coahoma Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
He was born in Hayden, Ariz. and lived most of his life in Coahoma. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a former prisoner of war. He worked for Texas Electric for more than 30 years and served on the Coahoma School Board.
SURVIVORS: Son, Ronnie Reid of Coahoma; daughter Quinett Jones of Odessa; sisters, Mildred Menser of Coahoma and Sandra Duenzl of Weatherford; brother, Wallace Reid of Coahoma, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association, Howard County Division, P.O. Box 1223, Big Spring, Texas or the Coahoma Church of Christ.

ODESSA -- Modell Sinclair, 76, of Odessa died Saturday, Feb. 21, 1998 at Medical Center Hospital.
Services wil be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rosehill Cemetery with Paul Smith officiating. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Wolfe City and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

ABILENE -- Jaunita B. Cox Dodson, 77, of Abilene, a retired employee of the Abilene State School, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 1998, in Odessa.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Bob Connell officiating. Burial will be at Clyde Cemetery. Arrangements by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Homes. She was born in Lewisville, Ark. and moved to Abilene from Odessa in 1970. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

ODESSA -- Sara Murray, 51, of Odessa died Sunday, Feb. 22, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Rosary was said Tuesday at Odessa Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Francis Frey officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
She was born in Villa de Fuente, Mexico, and was an Army veteran.

ODESSA -- Destiny Shyann Roe, infant daughter of Billy and Lacy Roe of Odessa, died Monday, Feb. 23, 1998, at Cook's Childrens Hospital in Fort Worth.
Graveside services will be held at noon Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. C.E. Shuffield officiating. Arrangments by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born Jan. 28 in Odessa.

BIG SPRING -- Eva Browning, 79, of Big Spring, a homemaker, died Monday, Feb. 23, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital following a brief illness.
Services were held at Feb. 25, 1998, at Myers & Smith Chapel with the Rev. Don Snipes officaiting. Burial was held at Trinity Memorial Park. Arrangements by Myers & Smith Funeral.
She was born in Hunt County and had lived in Big Spring for the last four years after moving from Post. She was a Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Janet Hopper of Big Spring, Marla Kyle of Odessa; son, Bob Carpenter of Weleetka, Okla.; brother, Travis Bounds of Talco; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

MONAHANS -- Joyce Eileen Elrod, 77, of Monahan, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

She was born in Oklahoma City and had been a longtime resident of Monahans. She was a Methodist.

ODESSA -- Josephine Crowley Martin, 81, of Odessa, a former owner of Midas Muffler Shop, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

She was born in Grandfalls and moved to Odessa in 1926. She was a Baptist.

KERMIT -- Martha Thompson, 71, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 1998, at her residence.

She was born in Brownfield and was a resident of Kermit for 34 years.

ODESSA _ John Blake, 61, of Odessa, a mechanic, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

He was born in Davidson, Okla., and was a longtime resident of Monahans. He was Presbyterian.

BRANSON, Mo. -- Dale Fitzpatrick, 64, a former motel co-manager, died Feb. 10, 1998, at Rolling Hills Nursing Center in Branson, Mo. He was born in Ponca City, Okla., and moved to Branson in 1990 from Odessa. He was Baptist.

He was born Jan. 5, 1931, in Clovis, N.M., and had lived in Odessa since 1958. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Christian Church of ODessa.
