She was born in Chicago and was a resident of Wink for 20 years. She was a Methodist.

SWEETWATER _ Walter Lewis ``Pete'' Kinney, 73, a former material supervisor for Enron Oil and Gas Co., died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 1997, in San Angelo.

RIO VISTA _ Horace H. Miller, 89, a retired oil-field contractor, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 1997, at Columbia Plaza Medical Center in Fort Worth.

He was born in Wayland and was a resident of Goldsmith from 1949 to 1970 and then Rio Vista. He was a Baptist.

He was a native of Big Spring and a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the First Christian Church, the Pecos Fire Department for 45 years, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Masonic Lodge.

Thurman L. Atchley
ODESSA _ Thurman L. Atchley, 63, of Odessa, a former Navy aviator, died Friday, Dec. 5, 1997, at his residence.

Atchley came to Odessa from Abilene in 1968. He served in the U.S. Navy as a pilot in Vietnam.
