Cole was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Clinton Cole and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Charles C. and Diane Vincent Cole of Quebeck; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Charles V. and Kimberly Cole of Quebeck; one sister, Lois Tennant of Sparta; and three grandsons, James, Joseph, and Thuan Jones Cole, all of Quebeck.
Services were held Friday, October 20, 2000, at 3 p.m. at The Old Country Church with burial in the Anderson Cemetery. Nathan Hawkins officiated.

Herman Lee Hutchings, 80, of Sparta, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2000, at White County Community Hospital.
Hutchings was born September 11, 2000, in DeKalb County, to Casto and Myrle Billings Hutchings.
He retired from the United States Navy where he served during World War II, the Korean Conflict, and Viet Nam.
Hutchings was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Earlyne Vinson Hutchings of Sparta; four sons, Duane Hutchings and Christopher Hutchings both of Sparta and Harold Hutchings and James Hutchings both of Memphis; one daughter, Melissa Hutchings of Nashville; three brothers, W. G. Hutchings, Loyd Hutchings, and Alton Hutchings all of Sparta; and three grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, October 21, 2000, at 1 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Old Zion Cemetery. Don Kelly off

Roy Douglas Pittman, 64, of Sparta, passed away Friday, October 20, 2000, at Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga.
Pittman was born April 26, 1936, in White County, to Ida Bell Pittman.
He was employed at Mallory Controls in Sparta.
Pittman was preceded in death by his mother.
Survivors include his wife, Treva Hollon Pittman of Sparta; four sons, Ronald Pittman, John Pittman, Mark Pittman, and Thomas Pittman all of Sparta; two step daughters, Debra Knight and Lisa Sewell both of Sparta; and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday, October 23, 2000, at 1 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Black Oak Cemetery. Eugene Lawson will officiate.

Hollingsworth was born July 3, 1930, in Wray, Colorado.
He attended the First Presbyterian Church.
Hollingsworth was a music teacher in the school system in Florida for 35 years. He was a former member of the United States Air Force Band.
Survivors include his wife, June A. Hollingsworth of Bartow, Florida; one son, Bryan E. Hollingswoth of Tampa, Florida; one daughter, Leisel M. Hollingsworth of Bartow, Florida; mother, Mary Hollingsworth of Bartow, Florida; and one granddaughter.
Services were held Thursday, October 12, 2000, at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Bartow, Florida.

Services were held Sunday, October 15, 2000, at 2 p.m. at Johnson's Chapel Baptist Church with burial in Johnson's Chapel Cemetery. Bro. David Wilson and Bro. Arvil Lee officiated.

Luna was born September 25, 1929, in White County to Rastus Burton Luna and Bessie Pollard.
He was a retired assemblyman from Ford Motor Company.
Survivors include four sons, Charles Winfred Luna of Washington, Clyde Burton Luna of Florida, and Paul Allen Luna and Terry Wayne Luna both of McMinnville; two daughters, Brenda Starr of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Robie Elina Johnson of McMinnville; 25 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Royce Luna of Sparta; two sisters, Rocelle Luna of Alabama and Myrtle Luna of Sparta; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Friday, October 13, 2000, at 11 a.m. at Taylor's Providence Cemetery. David England officiated.

Dunham was born January 9, 1928, in White County, to Beecher and Dailey Ann Kinnard Bumbalough.
She was a member of Copeland Chapel Church and was a homemaker.
Dunham was preceded in death by her husband, James Beecher Dunham; one daughter, Linda Swindell; two grandsons, Scott Swindell and Ryan Dunham; three sisters, Beulah Williams, Ruth Foster, and Annie Jewell Bumbalough; and six brothers, Herman, Sam, Riley, C. J., Thomas, and Herbert Bumbalough.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Jerry Cantrell of Cookeville, Melissa and Junior Hill of Cookeville, and Carolyn and Joe McDonald of Hoover, Alabama; one son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Debbie Dunham of McMinnville; eight grandchildren, Ricky Swindell, Jason Cantrell, Jill Cantrell Moore, Chase McDonald, Layne McDonald, Scott Dunham, Matthew Hill, and Mitchell Hill; one great grandchild, Shannon Swindell; two sisters, Lois Bohannon of Maryville and Evelyn Ashton of Anderson, Indiana.
Services were held Saturday, October 14, 2000, at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Hooper and Huddleston Funeral Home with burial in Copeland Chapel Cemetery in White County.
