Retired from Tennessee Mill and Mine and was a realtor. Longtime member of the Knoxville Garden Club. Preceded in death by loving husband, Sam R. Brabson; brothers, Paul, Hoover and Reese Bell. JENKINS, EUGENE C. - age 70, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday at the family home. A life-long native of Knox County, he was retired from the John Beretta Tile Company and was a member of the University Ave. Baptist Church. A loving daddy to his children and grandchildren, his second love was the Dallas Cowboys football team. Preceded in death by his parents, Jake Melvin and Lilly Mae Cates Jenkins and wife, Barbara Jean Jenkins; several brothers and sisters, he is survived by sons, Carl Jenkins and wife, Jackie of Powell, Melvin Eugene Jenkins and wife, Lori Michelle of Knoxville; daughters, Sandra Ann Jenkins of Knoxville, Teresa L. WOLFENBARGER, MR. DAVID LEE - age 54, of Maynardville, passed away suddenly Sunday evening, December 28, 1997, from an automobile accident. Member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, H.E. (Bud) and Stella Wolfenbarger; brother, Jake Wolfenbarger. Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Jim Ford of Maynardville; grandchildren, Victoria, Charles, Vannessa Ford, all of Maynardville; ex-wife of 31 years, Carolyn Stanton of Maynardville; brothers, Joe Wolfenbarger of New Market, Glen Wolfenbarger of Knoxville, Pat Wolfenbarger of Maynardville; sisters, Hazel Ridner of Halls, Margaret Bruner of Maynardville, Marie Cox of Maynardville, Bobbie Roberts of Maryville; many nieces and nephews; special friends, G.L. Beeler, Chubby Beeler, Ray Buckner. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. at Ailor's Chapel weather permitting, Rev. James Capps and Rev. Burney Hutchison officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Wednesday at Beeler's Cemetery, Hickory Valley Rd., weather permitting. YOUNG, NORA MARGARET CHANDLER - age 88, of Cleveland, Tenn., formerly of Maryville, died Sunday evening, December 28, 1997, at the Life Care Center in Cleveland. She was born in Huntsville, Ala., on April 1, 1909. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Maryville where she served in various capacities including president of the Women's Missionary Union of the Chilhowee Baptist Association, and was a member of the building committee for the present structure on Lamar Alexander Parkway. She was a charter member and early president of the Mary Blount Garden Club. She was a member of the Chilhowee Federated Women's Club. She was a president of the Women's Christian Temperance Union and served on various church and civic committees. Mrs. Young was the daughter of the late R.A. Chandler and Minnie Chandler, also of Blount County. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kirk S. Young, who was a 40 year employee with the Aluminum Company of America; sisters, Ozilene of Okalona, Miss., Eleanor of Maryville, Tenn., Maxine of Detroit, Mich.; brother, Horace Chandler of Lompoc, Calif. Survivors include daughter, Dolores Lambert of Cleveland, Tenn.; son, Dr. Kenneth C. Young of Ann Arbor, Mich.; grandchildren, Michael Lambert of Nashville, Steven Lambert of Cleveland, Kelly Lambert of Dayton, Amy Lambert of Chattanooga, Julie Perkins of Lake Orion, Mich., Jennifer Young, Rebecca Young, both of Ann Arbor, Mich.; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Alan Lockerman officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home, Maryville.
