COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Anna Lucette Deason, infant daughter of Bro. Tony and Nell Latson Deason of Cookeville will be held at 3:00 p.m. today from Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Smyrna Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. today at the church.

Anna was stillborn on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

In additional to her parents, her family includes three sisters: Lois Marie Deason of Michigan, Lydia Renee and Rhoda Joey Deason, both of Cookeville; seven brothers: Andrew Franklin Deason of North Dakota, Joel Samuel, Daniel Richard, Phillip Bartholomew, Nathan Allen, Mark and John Deason, all of Cookeville; grandparents: Donald and Alma Jean Deason of Shelbyville, and James and Virginia Wyatt of Rome, Ga.

Winell (Pip) Taylor

GAINESBORO -- Funeral services for Winell (Pip) Taylor, 75, of Crossville will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, from the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown Community of Jackson County.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. today, and from 12:00 p.m. until the time for the services at the funeral home.

Mr. Taylor died on Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at the Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville.

He was born April 10, 1926, in Tennessee to the late John Horace Taylor and Sarah Maude Smith Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a retired carpenter and a resident of the Mayland Community of Cumberland County.

His family includes two brothers: Robert Taylor of Crossville, and Eugene Taylor of Charlotte, N.C.; two sisters: Betty Lou Nichols of Clarksville, and Mary Jane Driver of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a special friend, Bessie Phillips of Crossville; two grandchildren: Melissa Phillips and Mary Ward; two great-grandchildren: Chris Phillips and Heather Phillips; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by one brother, Odell Taylor; and one sister, Estella Carter.

Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.

Nellie Law Sisco

GAINESBORO -- Funeral services for Nellie Law Sisco, 83, of Gainesboro will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, from the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home. Burial will be in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone Community of Jackson County.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. -- 9:00 p.m. today, and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sisco died on Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at her residence in the Bullard's Creek Community of Jackson County.

She was born Aug. 10, 1918, in Logan County, Ky. to the late William Harve and Mary Harrison Law. Mrs. Sisco was a homemaker and member of the Spring Valley Baptist Church near Adairville, Ky.

Her family includes four sons: Dean Sisco of Whitleyville, Joe Sisco, William O. Sisco, and Mike Sisco, all of Gainesboro; six daughters: Sue Matthews, Linda Matthews, Nita Jones, Darlene Smallwood, Janie Hix, and Ann Sisco, all of Gainesboro; three sisters: Addie Bell Law Stratton, Ella Mae Law, and Martha Law Tinch, all of Adair, Ky.; 16 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sisco was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Odell (W.O.) Sisco who passed away Sept. 9, 1987; two sons: Windell Sisco and Ricky Sisco; one daughter, Louise Gaw; four brothers: Oscar Francis Etheridge, John Henry Law, William Thomas Law, and James Andrew Law; one grandson, Kyle Sisco.

Ann Byrne Haile

GAINESBORO -- Graveside services for Ann Byrne Haile, 80, of Hendersonville will be held at 4:00 p.m. today from the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone Community of Jackson County.

Mrs. Haile died on Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.

She was born Sept. 23, 1921, in Granville to the late John and Hattie Byrne. Mrs. Haile was a member of the Hendersonville Church of Christ. She was a founding member of the Jackson County Historical Society and was actively affiliated with the Tennessee Historical Society. She was a member of the American Association of University Women, Tennessee Arts Council, Tennessee Education Association of University Women, Tennessee Arts Council, Tennessee Education Association, and the National Council of Teachers of English. Mrs. Haile was a past regent of the Fort Blount Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Her family includes two daughters and one son-in-law: Harriette Haile and J.D. (Ralph) Shivers of Roanoke, Va., and Martha Helen Haile, M.D. of Baltimore, Md.; two brothers: John Marvin Byrne of Hendersonville, and Herman Tittle Byrne of Sevierville; one sister, Mattie Mai Carr of Sevierville; six grandchildren: Steven Haile and Melinda Shivers of Seattle, Wash., Sarah Ellen Shivers, also of Seattle, Judith Shivers Deel of Nags Head, N.C., Kathleen Shivers Chestnut of Fredericksburg, Va., John Haile Loewenstein and Roy Anthony Haile Loewenstein, both of Baltimore, Md.; four great-grandchildren: Zachary Chestnut, Jonathan Chestnut, Kasey Lane Sizemore, and Hesse Haile Shivers; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Haile was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Herbert Morris Haile, Jr.; and one granddaughter, Evelyn Carol Shivers.

COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Sina L. Vogan, 84, of Cookeville will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, from Chapel-Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crest Lawn Mausoleums.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Vogan died on Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at her home.

She was born on March 20, 1917, in Pickett County to the late Joe Millard and Lady Margaret Taylor Garrett. Mrs. Vogan was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Her family includes her husband, Roderick Vogan of Cookeville; four brothers: Paul, Lloyd and Herbert Garrett, all of Cookeville, and Perry Garrett of Indiana; two sisters: Thelma Maxwell of Detroit, Mich., and Sue Music, also of Michigan; a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Vogan was preceded in death by three sisters: Verna Clouse, Alma Garrett, and Beulah Melton Presley; and one brother, James Erby Garrett.

Brenda Jo Duncan

HUNTSVILLE -- Funeral services for Brenda Jo Duncan, 41, of Huntsville, will be held at 1 p.m. today, Sunday, Dec. 2, from the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville. Burial will follow in Honeycutt-Lawson Cemetery in East Robbins.

Ms. Duncan died on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, at her home.

She was born on May 25, 1960, in Oneida to Lucille Lawson Duncan of Huntsville and the late Claude Duncan. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her mother, her family includes a brother and sister-in-law, Frankie and Shirley Duncan of Robbins; a sister, Nancy Blevins of Cookeville; five nieces and nephews, Tommy, Travis and Keisha Duncan, Lana and Ryan Blevins; many aunts, uncles and several other special relatives and friends.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Julia Lawson and Manual and Earnie Duncan.

Pallbearers will be Tommy and Travis Duncan, Eddie Dick, Jimmy Byrd, and Jonathan and Nathan Lawson.

Honorary pallbearer will be Ryan Blevins.

Rev. Carlie Duncan will officiate at the services.

Inez Nelma Mytinger

CELINA -- Funeral services for Inez Nelma Mytinger, 81, of Cookeville, were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, at Upton Funeral Home. Burial was in Fitzgerald Cemetery in Celina.

Mrs. Mytinger died on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at Vanderbilt Hospital.

She was born on Dec. 11, 1919, in Gainesboro to the late Nora Mae Flemming and Henry Clay Swann. Mrs. Mytinger was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. In 1961 she married Robert Earl Mytinger, who died in 1981.

Her family includes three sons, Gary Waddell of Indianapolis, Ind., James Clay Waddell of Cookeville, and Steve Waddell of Cartersville, Ga.; a brother, James Swann of Gilbertsville, Ky.; a sister, Linda Jane Dumat of Murfreesboro; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Don Chaffin officiated at the services.

Pamela Faye (Pam) Wilson

SPARTA -- Funeral services for Pamela Faye (Pam) Wilson, 38, of Sparta, will be held at 2 p.m. today, Sunday, Dec. 2, at East Sparta Church of God. Burial will be in Old New Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. today, Sunday, Dec. 2, at the church.

Mrs. Wilson died on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

She was born on May 30, 1963, in White County to Jimmy Dodson and Dola Jean Bennett Dodson of Sparta. Mrs. Wilson was a cashier at Kroger Co. She was a member of East Sparta Church of God.

In addition to her parents, her family includes her husband, Tim Wilson of Sparta; a brother, Edward S. Dodson of Cookeville; a sister, Paula Henry of Sparta; her mother and father-in-law, Dorothy and David Wilson; and five nieces.

Gloria Peggy Baker

COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Gloria Peggy Baker, 78, of Cookeville will be held at 2:00 p.m. today from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

Ms. Baker died on Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at Summitt Medical Center in Nashville.

She was born Sept. 10, 1923, in Oklahoma to the late John Stewart and Alta Catherine Helton Baker. Ms. Baker was a member of Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ. She received an undergraduate degree in home economics from Tennessee Technical University, and a Masters Degree in home economics from the University of Tennessee. She retired from teaching home economics at Monterey High School after over 35 years of service. Following her retirement, she worked for a number of years at Smith Mirror and Glass Co. She was a member of TTU Alumni Association and the Putnam County Retired Teachers' Association.

Her family includes a sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Harold Maynard of Mt. Juliet; a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Marian Baker of Huntsville, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Baker was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Huffer; and two brothers: Donald and John Stewart Baker, Jr.

Friends will serve as pallbearers.

GAINESBORO -- Graveside services for Frona B. Sisco Hall, 93, of Houston, Texas, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001, at John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone Community of Jackson County.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Anderson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hall died on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at the Katyville Nursing Home in Katy, Texas.

She was born on June 22, 1908, in Jackson County to the late Bedford and Minnie Harris Sisco. Mrs. Hall was a retired employee of the lumber industry. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was married to R.C. Hall, who died on June 13, 1969.

Her family includes a sister, Eugene Hall of Gainesboro; a granddaughter, Betty Jo Hall of Michigan; two great-granddaughters, Gina Sanders and Christa Siers, both of Texas; two great-great-grandchildren, John T. and Ariel Sanders, both of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Avery Lee Hall; a brother, Herman B. Sisco; a sister, Irene Sisco Jones; and a granddaughter, Kathy Hall Siers.

Jennie Gerlach

SPARTA -- Funeral services for Jennie Gerlach, 102, of Helena, Ark., will be held at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Helena.

Her family includes three children, Frances Phifer of Sparta, Bud Gerlach of Memphis, and Betty Chambliss of Texas; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Francisco Francisco Miguel

COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Francisco Francisco Miguel, 47, of Monterey, were held at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 4, from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Home. Burial will be in SanRafael La Independencia, Guatemala.

Mr. Miguel was dead on arrival at Cookeville Regional Medical Center on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born on July 8, 1954, in Guatemala to the late Francisco and Maria Jimenez Miguel. He was a production associate at Cagle's-Keystone Foods, LLC in Albany, Ky.

His family includes his wife, Patrocina Francisco Jose Andres; five daughters, Maria Francisco Miguel and Ofelia Miguel Francisco, both of Monterey, Virgilia Miguel Francisco, Maria Miguel Jose and Ana Miguel Jose, all of Guatemala; four sons, Roberto Miguel Jose and Francisco Miguel Jose, both of Monterey, Jose Miguel and Ricardo Miguel Jose, both of Guatemala; a sister, Teresa Miguel Francisco of Guatemala; six brothers, Domingo Miguel Francisco, Manuel Miguel Francisco, Oscar Miguel Francisco, all of Guatemala, Miguel Tomas Francisco, Guillermo Miguel Francisco and Luis Miguel Francisco, all of Monterey; and seven grandchildren.
