JARNIGAN, CURTIS EDGALEE (BUDDY), 63, of 4063 Terri St., Morristown, born August 4, 1935, passed away on November 19 at Fort Sanders Hospital, Knoxville. He was a faithful member of Kidwell’s Ridge Baptist Church, serving as Trustee for 19 years. He was a charter member of W.HCVFD, where he served as Chief for several years, as well as numerous other offices. He was employed by Lea Industries for 18 years. He was preceded in death by parents, Sam and Ollie Jarnigan; and brothers, Dean and Beby James. He is survived by wife, Bonnie (Evans) Jarnigan; daughter and son-in-law, David and Tammy Watson; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Amy (Cope) Jarnigan; granddaughters, Jennifer and Julie Watson, all of Morristown; sisters, Mrs. Ray (Flossie) Horton of White Pine, Mrs. Herbert (Marzilla) McAmis of Mosheim, Betty White, Mrs. Charlie (Benny) Simmons, Mrs. Hal (Janice) Fox, Morristown, Mrs. Bill (Blanche) Russell of Whitesburg; brothers, Sammy Jarnigan, Jackie Jarnigan, both of Russellville, Willie Jarnigan of Morristown; sister-in-law, Gloria Jarnigan of Morristown, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. HINKLE, SUMMER LEIGH, age 22, of Morristown, passed away Monday, November 16, 1998, from injuries due to an automobile accident. She was a member of Mt. Vale Church of God. RIAL, J.C., age 75, of Rutledge, died Thursday morning, November 19, 1998 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran in the United States Navy during World War II. He was ordained to preach in 1949 and pastored several churches throughout East Tennessee. Retired from Phillips Magnavox after 36 years of service. He was preceded in death by parents, Andrew and Bobbie Price; brothers, James, Willie, Robert, Eddie, Burl. PERRY, RUBY LOUISE CRUMPLEY, age 72, of Rt. 1, Rutledge, TN., 37861, passed away November 22, 1998 at her home. She was a member of Joppa Methodist Church. Ms. Perry was retired from Standard Knitting Mill of Knoxville after 37 yrs. of service. She was preceded in death by Eugene Perry; parents, Robert and Pearl Crumpley; brother, Mirrell Crumpley. RIAL, J.C., age 75, of Rutledge, died Thursday morning, November 19, 1998 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Navy during World War II. LOGAN, FREELIN E., JR., age 53, of 190 Logan’s Lane, Whitesburg, TN., went to be with the Lord, Monday, November 23, 1998, following a brief illness. Born in Providence, R.I., to Eleanor Scoefield Logan Bragwell, Tuscumbia, AL., and the late Freelin E. Logan Sr., the family moved to Jackson, TN., during Mr. Logan’s early childhood. Mr. Logan settled in East Tennessee in 1994. He was a U.S. Marine Corp. Veteran of the Vietnam War; a member of Guthries Gap Primitive Baptist Church; an electrician for the TVA. To those who knew and loved him he had a kind and giving heart.
