CARMICHAEL, FRED E. (SARGE), age 52, of 2322 Quillen Drive Morristown
was called home to be with the Lord Friday at Lakeway Regional Hospital
in Morristown. He served in the United States Air Force and retired with
honors from the Air National Guard. He also served in Desert Storm. He
was employed at Lenzing Fibers in Morristown. He is preceded in death by
his parents, Fred and Claudia Carmichael. He is survived by his wife, Glenda
Carmichael of the home; two sons, Fred Blane Carmichael and wife Mellisa
of Morristown; one daughter, Lisa Carmichael of Morristown; three grandsons,
Shay, Dakota, and Tray Carmichael; mother-in-law, Ann Burns of Rogersville;
three sisters, Linda Boothe of North Carolina, Nancy Bowery of Surgoinsville
and Debbie Carmichael of Rogersville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral

Lambert, Lloyd, age 64, of Hill Top Road, Rogersville, passed away
Saturday afternoon, April 17, 1999 at Hawkins County Memorial Hospital
following an extended illness. He was retired from construction work. He
was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and he was of the Pentecostal
faith. He is survived by his wife, Bertha Lambert of the home; children,

Haynes, Mrs. Fannie, age 90, of Jefferson City, died at 10:45 a.m.
Sunday morning April 18, 1999, at the Jefferson County Nursing Home following
an extended illness. Mrs. Haynes was a member of the Oakland United Methodist
Church and an active member of the Home Demonstration Club. She was the
widow of the late Don Haynes and mother of the late Bobby Haynes. Surviving
is her daughter and son-in-law, Gladys Haynes and John Snyder of Brick,
N.J.; granddaughter, Julie Snyder of Arlington, Va.; and numerous nieces

SCOTT, DR. CHARLES SEALE, age 75, of Morristown, passed away on Saturday,
April 17, at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a member of First
United Methodist Church. He was the son of the late Charles Sidney and
Lonora Katherine Seale Scott. Dr. Scott attended Lincoln Memorial University
and Carson Newman College, where he was with the Navy V12 program. He graduated
from the University of Arkansas Medical School in 1947. He was an intern
at Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. Dr. Scott was in general practice
in Middlesboro, Ky. from 1948 to 1952. Dr. Scott served in the U.S. Air
Force in Germany, Saudi Arabia and North Africa from 1952-1954. He completed
his residency at University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 1958. Dr.
Scott began his East Tennessee OB-GYN practice in 1958 in Morristown. He
was active in the Lakeway Medical Society, the American College of Obstetrics
and Gynecology and had been the Chief of Staff several times at Morristown-Hamblen
Hospital. Survivors include: wife, Billie Scott; daughter and son-in-law,
Carol and Dale Allen of Knoxville, Tenn.; son and daughter-in-law, Doug
and Cathy Scott of Morristown; step daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Danny

Morrison; and a brother, Kenneth Morrison. Ms. Morrison was an employee
of the Bell Telephone Company for over 40 years in Morristown and Tucson,

BULL, MRS. ANNA MAE, age 67, of Tazewell, TN., was born October 11,
1931 and passed away quietly on April 20, 1999 at her home after a long

and later moved her letter to Seals Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where
she remained a faithful member until death. She was a life member of The

New Cannaan, Conn.; one brother, Larry Hataway of Phoenix, Ariz.; a
number of nieces and nephews. Calling hours were Saturday, April 24,
1999 at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville. Funeral services will be
conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 1999 at Persia Baptist Church
with Dr. Bobby Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in the church
cemetery. Body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral
service. Broome Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
TALLEY, ROBERT E. (BOB), age 49, passed away Friday, April 23, 1999
in
Morristown-Hamblen Hospital after suffering a massive stroke. He was
of
the Baptist faith and was a valued employee of Mor-ristown-Hamblen
Health System for 25 years in the Laboratory and Respiratory Department.
Bob was a U.S. Army veteran whose service to our country included two
tours of duty as a medic in Vietnam where he was a prisoner of war
for a
brief period. He was an avid fan of Alabama's Crimson Tide. He had
achieved the rank of Shodan (Black Belt) in the Zen Tokukai Association
and was an active instructor of children in Kiyokan Dojo. He was
preceded in death by his father, Robert Talley; brother, James Talley.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Austin Talley; daughter and
son-in-law, Beth Goodson Moffit and Myron Moffitt; grandchildren, Joey
and Katie Moffitt; daughter and friend, Melanie Talley and Todd Dailey;
son, Charles Russell Talley all of Morristown; mother and stepfather,
Myrtle and Ed Talley of Lakeland, Fla.; brother and sister-in-law,
Colin
and Linda Talley of Orlando, Fla.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,
Kathy and Tony Gordon, Jim and Darlene Joyce of Greenville, S.C.; nieces
and nephews, Chystal Lane Colina, Casey and Christie Talley, Ashley
and
Allyson Joyce, Brad and Ben Gordon; mother-in-law, Ida Austin;
grandmother, Myrtle Barfoot of Luverne, Ala. Bob will be fondly
remem-bered and greatly missed by his numerous good friends and family
in Tennessee and Alabama. Military graveside services will be 10:00
a.m.
Monday, April 26 at Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive
friends 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Stetzer Funeral Home in Morristown.

TOMASULO, JERRY G., age 77, of Dandridge, passed away Saturday, April
24, 1999, at Ft. Sanders Hospital, Knoxville following a brief illness.

WOLFE, NETTIE L., age 91, passed away Thursday, April 22, 1999, at
Ridgeview Terrace Nursing Home in Rutledge. Funeral services will be
Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Westside Chapel with Rev. Gary Satterfield
officiating. Interment will be in the Meadow Branch Cemetery. Westside
