Anna M. Yacubeck, 83, of 70 S. Pine St., Hazleton, died Wednesday afternoon at her home. The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc., 542 N. Wyoming St., Hazleton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in St. Gabriel's R.C. Church. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.

Charles W. Haganey
Charles W. Haganey, 449 Ridge St., Freeland, died early Wednesday morning at his home. Services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the McHugh-Wilczek Funeral Home, 249 Centre St., Freeland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Freeland. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. The Freeland Roman Catholic Community Bereavement Committee will conduct a Christian Wake Service Friday evening.

John Pindar
John Pindar, World War II Army veteran and the recipient of the Purple Heart, a resident of 378-D Main St., Harwood Mines, died early Thursday morning at his home, following a prolonged illness. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John's B.C. Church. Entombment will take place in the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Drums. Memorial donations may be made to St. John's B.C. Church, 5 E. 20th St., Hazleton, Pa. 18201 or the Holy Dormition Franciscan Monastery, Sybertsville 18251. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Joseph B. Conahan Funeral Home Inc., 532 N. Vine St., Hazleton.

Edward Zinavage, 74, formerly of Shenandoah, died Thursday morning at the Broad Mountain Nursing Home, where he was a resident. Services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc., Shenandoah. Interment will take place at 11 a.m. in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 8 to 9:30 a.m. There will be no Sunday evening calling hours.

Anna B. Andershonis, 80, of 300 W. Frack St., Frackville, died Thursday morning at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Pottsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in Annunciation BVM Church, 37 S. Broad Mountain Ave., Frackville. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. There will be no calling hours. The Leonard Chaikowsky Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Mary F. DeNoia (Dinovic), 87, of 616 Centre St., Freeland, died Wednesday evening at Davis Manor, Mountaintop. Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from the McNulty Funeral Home, 407 Centre St., Freeland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony's R.C. Church. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. The Freeland Roman Catholic Community Bereavement Committee will conduct services Friday evening.

Anna Gablin Puk, 95, a resident of Pinebrook Personal Care, Orwigsburg, formerly of West Mahanoy Avenue, Mahanoy City, died Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Pottsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's R.C. Church, with Monsignor Anthony Wassel, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's R.C. Cemetery, Mahanoy City. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. There will be no service or viewing from the funeral home. The Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah, is in charge of the arrangements.

Walter Charles Strenk
Walter Charles Strenk, formerly of West 20th Street, Hazleton, died April 23 in Long Beach, Calif., where he lived for many years. The funeral will be held today in Riverside, Calif. Interment will be in Riverside Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Riverside. A full military ceremony and color guard will be accorded. Contributions may be made in his memory to the World War II Memorial Fund, in care of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Department of California, 111 Governor's Circle, Sacramento, Calif. 95823; or the World War II Memorial Fund, American Battle Monument Commission, P.O. Box 98147, Washington, D.C. 20090-8147.

Marie Schlosser, of New York City, died Wednesday morning at New York University Hospital. Arrangements, under the direction of the Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc., Hazleton, will be announced at a later time.

Pusti Funeral Home, 480 W. Broad St., Hazleton with a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity R.C. Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. Friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. the funeral home. A prayer service will be held.

Clark E. Searfoss Sr.
Clark E.. Searfoss Sr., 71, of 208 Short St., East Palestine, Ohio, died Tuesday at his residence following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, Ohio with the Rev. James Beach of The Way Station, Columbiana, Ohio, officiating. Burial will be in the Glenview cemetery in Ohio. Friends may call at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, Ohio, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, St. John's. There will be no public viewing. Mary BeNoia, 616 Centre St., Freeland, died Wednesday evening at the Davis Nursing Home, Mountaintop. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and are being handled by the McNulty Funeral Home, Freeland.

Anthony "Sonny" Bindus Jr., of Rear 121 Short St., Beaver Meadows, died suddenly Wednesday morning at the emergency room of Hazleton General hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from the Hilary J. Bonin Funeral Home, 99 W. Green St., West Hazleton, with Divine Liturgy with the Office of Christian Burial will take place in St. Peter and Paul's Byzantine Catholic Church, Beaver Meadows at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the parish Cemetery, Coxeville. Friends may call at the funeral home, Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. A Parastas service at 7:30 p.m. will be conducted by Rev. James Demko.

Rev. Monsignor Adam J. Bydlon
The Rev. Monsignor Adam J. Bydlon, 80, of St. John Cantius Parish, Philadelphia, died Saturday in Villa St. Joseph, Darby, Delaware County. A mass was held yesterday at the St. John Cantius Church, Philadelphia. A Funeral Mass will be conducted today at 11 a.m. in the St. John Cantius church with calling hours from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the St. John Cantius Church. Arrangements are being handled by the Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, Summit Hill.

William Prybolsky, 83, of 228 S. Middle St., Frackville, died Sunday evening at Pottsville Hospital Warne Clinic, Pottsville, where he had been a patient since Saturday morning. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the Nice Funeral Home, 9-11 N. Lehigh St., Frackville with Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. from St. Michael's Ukrainian Church, Frackville. The Rev. Nestor Iwasiw will officiate. Interment will be at the parish Cemetery, Frackville. Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home with a Parastas service at 7:30 p.m.

Anna Shushinsky, 81, a resident for the past 15 years, of the Nipple Convalescent Home, 100 S. Front St., Liverpool, died Sunday afternoon at the Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, where she had been a patient since April 19. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Dominik Kalata, pastor of Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Frackville, will officiate. Interment will be at the Annunciation BVM Cemetery, Frackville. There will be no calling hours. Elizabeth C. Blackwell, 87, of 516 W. Spring St., Frackville, died early Tuesday morning, shortly after arrival at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Pottsville. Services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Third and Washington streets, Frackville. Liturgy of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. in Christ Episcopal Church, North Parish, Frackville, with the Rev. James C. Smith officiating. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Frackville.
