Monsignor Neil O. Gugliemelli, Pastor Emeritus of Our Lady of Grace Church, Hazleton, died Saturday morning at the Little Flower Manor, Wilkes-Barre, after a lengthy illness. Viewing will take place at Our Lady of Grace Church, 750 N. Vine St., Hazleton, on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 8 to 9:30 p.m. A Vigil Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Church at 7 p.m., with the Very Rev. Patrick J. McLaughlin presiding. A Pontifical Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Most Rev. James C. Timlin, Bishop of Scranton, on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Hazleton. Viewing will also take place in the church prior to the 11 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Hazleton. The Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, of Hazleton, is in charge of the arrangements.

Josephine Witkowski, 80, formerly of Shenandoah Heights, died Saturday at Hazleton-St. Joseph Medical Center. She had been a resident at the Shenandoah Manor Nursing Center. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc., Shenandoah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church, Shenandoah, followed by interment in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Cerebral Palsy or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Thelma Krum, 84, formerly of South Cedar Street, Hazleton, died Friday evening at St. Luke Pavilion, Hazleton. For the past two years, she had been living at the Fritzingertown Senior Living Community, Drums. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Rosenstock Funeral Home, 229 W. Broad St., Hazleton, with the Rev. Evelyn Stupp, pastor of St. Paul's U.M. Church, officiating. Interment will take place in Dunmore Cemetery. There will be no public viewing. Gertrude I. Fritz, 96, a former, and long-time, resident of Audenried, died Saturday at the Carbon County Home for the Aged, Weatherwood, where she had lived for the past 10 years. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Audenried, where her pastor, the Rev. Donald Striker, will preside. Burial will follow in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown. Friends may call at Salem Lutheran Church, on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
