Edward Zarcufsky
Edward Zarcufsky, 75, a naval veteran of World War II and a Purple Heart recipient, died Friday, shortly after admission to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Pottsville. Services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Louis Truskowsky Funeral Home Inc., 300 W. Center St., Mahanoy City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Mahanoy City. Interment will take place in Our Lady of Dawn Cemetery, Shenandoah. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m.

Matilda Rafter
Matilda Rafter, 84, previously of 70 W. Juniper St., Hazleton, died Thursday evening at the Mountain City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hazleton. Friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at noon today in St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton. There will be no public viewing. Burial will be in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Freeland. Arrangements are under the direction of the Boyle Funeral Home, Hazleton.

Florence E. Baldino, 433 Washington St., Frackville, died Friday at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Pottsville. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Third and Washington streets, Frackville, with the Rev. Nancy Haigh Ross, pastor of First United Methodist Church, Frackville, officiating. Interment will take place in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Frackville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Marion G. Stubbs, 85, of 209 Roberts Road, Pittston, died Wednesday at Wesley Village, Pittston. Arrangements were under the direction of the Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg.

Louise Mae Nagel, 100, formerly of Freeland, died Wednesday evening at the Fritzingertown Senior Living Community, Drums. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Cotterall-Petrilli Funeral Home, 706 Birkbeck St., Freeland, with the Rev. Wayne Kaufman officiating. Interment will take place in the Freeland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.

Eva McMonigle
Eva McMonigle, 96, formerly of West Hazleton, and prior to that, of Indiana, died Thursday at St. Luke Manor, Hazleton. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc., 544 N. Wyoming St., Hazleton. Pastor Ryan Day will officiate. Interment will take place in Mauckport, Ind. Friends and relatives may call on Saturday morning prior to the services from 10 to 11 a.m.

Ciara K. Kibler, of 413 Carbon St., Weatherly, died Wednesday evening at the Janet Weiss Children's Hospital/Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. A memorial service will be held at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Third and Fell streets, Weatherly at a time to be announced. Donations may be made in her memory to the Janet Weiss Children's Hospital/Geisinger Medical Center, 100 N. Nancy Matuszkiewicz
Nancy Matuszkiewicz, 55, a graduate of the Pottsville School of Nursing, and a registered nurse, died Wednesday at Hazleton General Hospital. Mrs. Matuszkiewicz resided at 39 N. Manning St., McAdoo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Kunegunda's Church, followed by interment in St. Mary's of the Assumption Cemetery, McAdoo. There will be no calling hours. The Lamar Christ Funeral Home of Hometown is in charge of the arrangements.

Marie A. Yackimowicz, 66, of 34 Snyder Ave., McAdoo, died Thursday morning at Hazleton General Hospital. Services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home, Blaine and Cleveland streets, McAdoo. The Rev. Wade Wilson will officiate. Randy L. Kerner, 16, a sophomore at North Schuylkill High School, and a resident of 48 Middle St., Locust Dale, died Wednesday in Columbia County. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, 901 Center St., Ashland. Interment will follow in Brock Cemetery, Ashland. Theodora C. (Teddy) Kadysiewski, of 659 Penn St., West Hazleton, died Friday at the Saint Luke Pavilion where she had been a guest. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Resurrection on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in Transfiguration R.C. Church, West Hazleton. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Leonard Deitch
Leonard Deitch, retired Hazleton Area School District and Hazleton City School District educator and combat veteran of World War II, died at Aventura, (Fla.) Hospital at age 91. He was a resident of Aventura. Services will be held at the Agudas Israel Cemetery Friday at 12:30 p.m. The Fierro Funeral Home, Hazleton is handling arrangements.

Peter Petrole, 1 East Market St., Tresckow, died Wednesday at the Hazleton General Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Fierro Funeral Home, 26 W. Second St., Hazleton; followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Bartholomew's R.C. Church, Tresckow. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, McAdoo. Raymond L. Stokes, Sr., of 6041 Bauman Dr., Elkridge Md., died Tuesday morning at the Richie Hospice, Baltimore, Md. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. from the John J.
