Julius C. Porcher, Jr., Johnstown; and Freddie M. Johnson, Johnstown; brothers:
David; and Hardy E., Johnstown; nieces and nephews: Lori A. Porcher; David
C. Porcher; David T. Glover; and Jessica Glover; great nephews: Julius
Lamar Porcher; David James Porcher; and Jerrin Porcher; and special friend,

FACCIANI, ANNA M., 87, of Johnstown, died August 8, 2000 at LaurelWood
Convalesant Care Center. Born March 16, 1913 in Lilly, PA. Daughter of
Anthony and Mary (Margiewicz) Archihofsky. Anna was the last surviving
member of the Archihofsky family.Preceded in death by her parents; beloved
husband of 57 years, Reno R. Facciani, in 1985; brothers: Joseph and Louis;
sisters: Blanch Stopka, Helen Lesczc, and Lottie Reese; first born son,
Raymond who died at infancy ; daughter Nancy who died in 1947 at the age
of seventeen; grandson Patrick.
Survived by 3 sons: Leonard M/T Ardeth Helsel, Donald M/T Mary Rose
Weaver, Ronald M/T Barbara Merrits all of Johnstown; daughter Sally Anne
M/T Stuart Plotkin of Richmond, VA; 9 grandchildren: Leonard Jr., Michael
J., Richard, Michael E., John, Mary Beth, Ronald Jr., Julie Ann, and Joseph.
10 great grandchildren: Joseph, Thomas, Angela, Lara, Raquel, Gabrielle,
Vincent Reno, Megan, Reno Robert, and Brittany.
Anna was Co-owner with her late husband of Modern Art and Plate Glass
Company in Johnstown. They were among the establishing residents of the
little neighborhood of Elim in Upper Yoder Township where they have resided
for nearly seventy years. A tree will be planted in her memory on Finch
Street in Elim. Anna earned a Practical Nursing License at Mercy Hospital.
She also enjoyed Bridge and actively played in a woman's club for over
fifty years. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family
and friends. Anna and Reno were active, charter members of St. Clement
Catholic Church where Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Friday,
Father William E. Rosenbaum. Friends received from 7-9 PM, Wednesday, and
2-4 & 7-9 PM, Thursday, Vigil for the deceased will be held on Thursday

September 11, 1923 in Johnstown, son of Emery and Rose Vlasaty. Preceded
in death by parents; wife Madlynne (Veil) Vlasaty, died in 1984.
Survived by daughter Lin Vlasaty, Sommerville, NJ; sisters, Elizabeth
Muzic, Ohio; Rosemary Antoniou, Florida; brother, John Vlasaty, Johnstown.
Mr. Vlasaty was a graduate of University of Pittsburgh and served in the
US Army during WW II. He was employed as a Banker with Chase Manhattan
Bank in New York City for over 30 Years. He retired as vice-president in
1980.
