|Betty (Boch) Kemerer, age 85, of Gibsonia, on Sunday October
21, 2001; wife of the late Raymond "Lou" Kemerer; mother of Russell R.,
Rodney T., and Chris F.; also survived by grandchildren Craig, Jeffrey,
Julie, Laura and Adam. Born in Paintertown, PA, she grew up in Irwin and
was the valedictorian of the Norwin High School Class of 1934, and a graduate
of Seton Hill College. A resident of Gibsonia since 1960, she was a founding
member of the Friends of the Richland Public Library. As a teacher and
avid lifelong reader, memorial contributions are suggested to the Northern
Tier Regional Library, Richland Center, 4015 Dickey Road, Gibsonia, PA
15044. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday October 27 at 12 noon at

Dorothy M. (Austen) Collier, age 89, of Richland Twp., Gibsonia, on Tuesday October 23, 2001. Born on February 15, 1912 in Gibsonia she was the daughter of the late Clyde S. and Alta (Miller) Austen. Beloved wife of the late D. LeRoy Collier and dear sister of Donald C. Austen of Richland Twp. Gibsonia. Dearly loved by many relatives and friends. Friends received Thursday 7-9 and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 at the SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, LTD. Bakerstown where the service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday. Rev. Dr. Darcy Hawk will officiate. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Collier was a member of the Gibsonia Presbyterian Church, the O.E.S. William V. Unitas, age 68, of Richland Twp., Gibsonia died on Thursday, October 25, 2001. Born in the Brookline area of Pittsburgh on September 29, 1933 he was the son of the late William V. & Helen (Ninos) Unitas. Beloved husband of Kathryn (Harris) Unitas. Dear father of Gordon J. Born on February 7, 1927 in Fairview Twp., Butler County he was the son of the late Warren and Jennie (Rankin) Korn. Beloved husband for 29 years of Dee (Patten) Korn. In 1950 he and his wife, Martha, built and established Bakerstown Golf Course, renamed Pittsburgh North Golf Club in 1969. Sox was a member of the PGA, PGO (Pennsylvania Golf Course Owners), and the Etna Elks. Anna Uffelmann Cyphers, age 101, of Daytona Beach, FL, formerly of Mars and Neville Island died on Monday, December 3, 2001. Born in McDonald, PA on October 29, 1900, she was the daughter of the late John J. & Josephine (Cruden) Johmen. Wife of the late Peter Uffelmann and Bernard Cyphers. Loving Mother of Grace Mihalyi of Valencia, Mary Rutkowski of Daytona, FL and Harold Uffelmann of Ocean Side, California. Also 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husbands and parents she was preceded in death by one sister Josephine Krenn. Cecelia "Dot" Swartz of West View on Friday, December 7, 2001 in UPMC Passavant Hospital. Born in Pittsburgh on August, 23, 1919, she was loving daughter of the late Frank and Cecelia (Haffner) Reichel and the beloved wife of the late William E. Swartz. She is survived by her son, Ronald Swartz of Ross Twp.; a sister, Sarah Munsch of Florida and two grandchildren, William and Ronald Swartz Jr, both of Ross Township. Family will receive friends MONDAY 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Schellhaas Funeral Home Inc., 388 Center Avenue, West View. Private services will held at the convenience of the family on Tuesday. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer, North Side Catholic Cemetery, Ross Township. Dot retired last year with 30 years of service as a school guard for the Boro of West View. Ewald C. Menn Jr., age 94, of Millvale, on Monday December 10, 2001 in St. Francis Medical Center, Pittsburgh. Born in Aspinwall, PA on November 30, 1907, the loving son of the late Ewald C., Sr. and Mary (Bauer) Menn, and beloved husband of the late Alberta E. (Rothert) Menn. Mr. Menn is survived by one daughter, Erma Linda Lenz of Spring Hill; one sister, Wilma Wheeler of Indiana; and five grandchildren, Charles and Caryn Lenz, and Carol, Scott, and Chalene McGinty. Also survived by 4 Great Grandchildren. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Menn was the Manager of a Liquor Store.

died Wednesday, May 1, 2002 in Pittsburgh.
Louis C. Schulties, age 82 of Brookline, formerly of North Side, on
Thursday, May 2, 2002 in St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon. He was born in
Pittsburgh on January 19, 1920, the son of the late Louis C. and Agnes
(Rogers) Schulties. In addition to his parents, Mr. Schulties was preceded
in death by two sisters, Rosemary Moreman and Rita Schulties.

on Monday, June 3, 2002.
Stella E. Leindecker, age 78 of West View, on Tuesday, June 4, 2002
in Windsor Place. She was born in Pittsburgh on June 4, 1924, the daughter
of the late Carl and Clara (Kuehn) Finkbeiner. In addition to her parents,
Mrs. Leindecker was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward J.
Leindecker, Jr.; two sisters, Anna and Dorothy and one brother, Otto.
