LODI -- Barbara Ann Newberry, 57, of Lodi, died Friday, Dec. 4 at Barberton Citizens Hospital, following a long illness. Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Parker and Son Funeral Home in Lodi, with the Dr. Charles F. Billington officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lodi. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. She was born March 1, 1941 in Barberton to Eugene and Marybelle (Penrod) Furman and married Joel Newberry on April 29, 1957. He survives. Surviving in addition to her husband are children, Sandra (Michael) George of Ashland, Joel (Diane) E. Newberry of Treadway, Tenn., and Terry (Carol) L. Surviving in addition to her daughter are three other children, Virginia Sigman of Columbus, William and Robert Reese, both of Charleston, W.Va.; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

MILLERSBURG -- Mercy Grace Hallman, infant daughter of Mathew R. and Patricia A. (Mast) Hallman, 7030 State Route 241, was stillborn Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Joel Pomerene Memorial Hospital in Millersburg. Private graveside services were held Friday, Nov. 27, at Bethel Cemetery in Berlin. Bill Mullet officiated. Services will be Sunday at 10 a.m. at Peniel Beachy Fellowship, with Bishop Levi Miller officiating. Burial will be at Peniel Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. or Saturday from 1-4 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Johnston-Schlabach Funeral Home in Shreve. Surviving are children, Delbert (Jane) Miller, Katie Ann (Levi) Shrock and Robert (Emeline) Miller, all of Shreve, Mary Jane (Kenneth) Gerber of Earlton, Ontario, Canada, Yost (Ruth) Miller of Millersburg, Nelson (Anna) Miller of Zanesville and Dorothy (Elmer) Steiner of Dalton; 27 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Yost A. Miller of Orrville; and sisters, Elizabeth Troyer of Fresno, Anna (Levi) Hershberger of Lakeville, Fannie (Ammon) Hershberger of Orrville, Katie (Dan) Miller and Clara (David) Troyer, both of Apple Creek.

Delbert Stoner
MANSFIELD -- Delbert M. Stoner, 94, 926 Becky Drive, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital, after an apparent heart attack. Services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors in Mansfield, with the Revs. Terry and Sherry Vaught officiating. Burial will be at Mansfield Cemetery. Friends may call tonight (Thursday) from 6-8 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to First Church of the Brethren. Surviving are nieces and nephews in the Wayne County area.
