John Caudill
LOUDONVILLE -- John Mack Caudill, 48, 313 N. Water St., died Thursday, Dec. 31, at his home after a long illness. Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville with the Rev. Clyde Thompson Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Vermillion Cemetery, Hayesville. He married Sandra Compton on Feb. 24, 1973. She survives. ASHLAND -- Grace M. Copley, 96, 1148 Smith Road, and formerly of Rittman died Friday, Jan. 1, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Ashland. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman with the Rev. Bret Deffenbaugh officiating. Burial will be at Rittman Cemetery. SUGARCREEK -- Garrison F. Finzer, 83, 1018 McDonald Drive, Apt. B, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Hennis Care Center in Dover, after an extended illness. A family committal service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at East Lawn Cemetery in Sugarcreek with the Rev. Welton Stein officiating. A Memorial service will be Saturday, Jan. 9 at 11 a.m. at the First United Church of Christ in Sugarcreek with the Rev. Carlan Helgeson officiating. He married Helen Widder on Dec. 25, 1941. She survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Rev. G. Fred (Lois) Finzer of Dexter, Mich. and Ned E. PERRYSVILLE -- Janeen Ruth Lackey, 63, 132 Weltmer Circle, died Thursday evening, Dec. 31, at her home, after a five-month illness. Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville with the Rev. Howard Burnett officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Perrysville. Lackey on June 20, 1953. He survives. Robert Muse
SANDUSKY -- Robert E. Muse, 78, died Friday, Dec. 25, at Ohio Veteran's Home in Sandusky. There will be no services or calling hours. Rev. Dayton Parr
ORRVILLE -- Rev. Dayton H. Parr, 82, 9561 McQuaid Road, died Thursday, Dec. 31, at his residence. Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Apostolic Church of Barberton, 1717 Turkeyfoot Road, Barberton with the Rev. Nelson Pamer officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. He married Genevieve Dornon on March 18, 1938. She died in 1997. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Mae Parr of Orrville, children and their spouses, Georgiana and Duane Brown of Waynesburg, Richard William and Donna Darlene Parr of Orrville and an adopted daughter, Wanda Lowery of Carrollton, Ky.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother and three sisters.

Randy Gehres officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville. Friends may call Monday from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. She married John Thomas Willis on May 10, 1928. DOYLESTOWN -- Retired Army Lt. Col. Joseph K. Griffith, 70, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Sts. Daniel Bellman
AKRON -- Daniel D. Bellman, 58, passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at Wooster Community Hospital, after fighting a battle with cancer. Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Billow Lakes Chapel, 472 W. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron with the Rev. Keith Snyder officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home or one hour before the service on Tuesday. He is survived by his mother, Esther D. (Mumaugh) Bellman; his fiancee, Rose Marie Massie; a son, Curtis (Tina) Bellman; daughters, Crystal Bellman and Carman (Don) Seabeck; grandchildren, Chrissie Bellman, Nanette Bellman, Daniel Bellman and Rebecca Taylor and sisters, Margie (Glenn) Hoppe and Nancy Murray. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and good friends.

RITTMAN -- Nathan Jacob Hamilton and Lauryn Ciara Hamilton, infant son and daughter of Christopher J. and Nicole M. (Martyn) Hamilton, of 24 Brookside Dr., died soon after birth Thursday, Dec. 31, at Akron General Medical Center. Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Knupp's Church in Rittman Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Hackworth officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Gillman Funeral Home. Surviving in addition to their parents are grandparents, Butch and Kim Martyn of Akron, Les and Vickie Hamilton and Chris and Vickie Hartlaub, all of Rittman, and several great-grandparents.

CHATHAM -- Margaret C. Fish, 81, of Chatham, died Friday, Jan. 1, at Meadowview Care Center in Seville, after a lengthy illness. She was the mother of Glenn (Barbara) Fish of Lodi. Services will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Parker & Son Funeral Home in Lodi, with the Rev. Randy K'Myer officiating. Burial will be at Chatham Cemetery. Surviving in addition to her son, are another son, Roland (Donna) Fish of Medina; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Carol J. Payne, 50, of Cape Coral, Fla., died Friday, Dec. 4, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Memorial services were held Wednesday, Dec. 9, in Cape Coral, Fla. There are no immediate survivors.

DUNCAN FALLS -- Marguerite E. Dyser, 78, 366 Mill St., died Monday afternoon, Jan. 4, at the home of her son in Layland. She was the mother of Daniel (Jo) Muse of Millersburg. Burial will be at Vermillion Cemetery in Hayesville, where military rites will be conducted by Jeromesville American Legion and Hayesville Amvets. He was born July 15, 1932 in Ashland to Myron C. and Lois (Riley) Glass and married Doris Lange on Sept. 18, 1954. She survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Steve (Terri) Glass and Joel Glass, both of Ashland, James Glass of Concord, N.H., Robert Curtis Glass of Cuyahoga Falls and Jon (Susan) Glass of Big Prairie; and grandchildren, Amy, Stephanie, Laurie, James Glass Jr., Justin, Jeremy Curtis Glass, Jarod, Kyle, Garrett, Brandon and Mariah.

(Joann) Miletto of Wooster; grandchildren, Jera Grissinger, Jamie Burton, Nicole Kerr, Denin and Danielle Miletto; a brother, Nick Yacapraro and a sister, Mary Fockler, both of Wooster.

APPLE CREEK -- Emma Blosser, 100, of Apple Creek, died Monday, Jan. 4, at Smithville-Western Care Center, Wooster, after a brief illness. She was born April 30, 1898 near Mount Eaton to Jacob and Mary (Antener) Bomeli and married Dayton L. Blosser on June 28, 1928. He died Jan. 19, 1986. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clinton (Ruth) Masters of Apple Creek; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Walter Bomeli of Ashland.

Services will be Friday at 9 a.m. at the Dan S. Yoder residence, 7728 County Road 77, Mount Hope, with Bishop Levi M. Troyer officiating. Burial will be at the Yoder Cemetery, Salt Creek Township, Holmes County. Friends may call anytime at the Ervin Yoder Jr. residence, 7778 County Road 77, Mount Hope. Arrangements are being handled by Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton. He was born Feb. 28, 1908 near Mount Hope to Michael E. and Mary Ann (Schlabach) Yoder and married Ada Mast on Dec. 9, 1937. She died Jan. 24, 1996. Surviving are children, Mrs. William (Fannie) Bontrager, Mrs. Ben (Arie) Coblentz and Dan S. Yoder, all of Millersburg, Mrs. Roy D. (Emma) Yoder of Fredericksburg, Michael S. Yoder of Berlin and Ervin S. Yoder of Mount Hope; 39 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brothers, Andy M. Yoder of Holmesville and Dan M.
