George Price, 83, passed away April 28, 1998, in Akron.
He was born Aug. 8, 1914, in Belington, W. Va., to his parents, Howard
and Cinda Price. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers.
He worked for W. G. Lockhart & H. B. Lockhart Construction Co. for
over 40 years, and was a retired member of Local 18 International Union
of Operating Engineers.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia; second wife of
46 years, Marion E.; five brothers, two sisters; and son-in-law, Butch
Purkey. He is survived by his daughters, Patty Matheny of Pensacola, Fla.,
Joyce Purkey of Vienna, W. Va., Valerie Woodward of Copley and son-in-law,
Clint Woodward; brothers, Dick (Betty) Price of Port Orange, Fla., and
Bill (Emma) Price of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Paula Bucci, Jody (Mara)
Purkey, Jay Purkey, Joe Woodward, and Emily Woodward; great-grandson, Frankie

Robert Turner Higginbottom, 50, went home to be with the Lord on April
He graduated from Buchtel High School in 1967. He worked for Prinz
Office Supply and then became a long-distance truck driver for Ohio Fast
Freight. He was a construction entrepreneur until his health failed. He
was a member of the Gospel Temple Church in Barberton, where he served
as a deacon.
He leaves, to cherish his memory, daughter, Tracie Higginbottom; son,
De'shone Higginbottom, both of Akron; six grandchildren; sisters, Katie
M. Mee of Detroit, Mich., Lula M. (Elder Samuel) Hampton, Daisey L. Blackson,

Theresa Mikolajczyk, 70, of Northfield Center was the beloved daughter
of the late Anton and Mary Mikolajczyk. Theresa was a very-much-loved aunt,
great-aunt and great-great-aunt who will be deeply missed. Sister of Stanley
Mikolay, Sophia Mayor, Frank J. Mikolay and the late Ed Mikolay, Alex Mikol,
Elsie Szudlo, Anna Mikolajczyk and Joe Mikolay, she died Wednesday, May
Theresa dedicated her life to taking care of her mother and sister,
Anna, until their deaths. She had worked as an inspector for Marble Chair
in Bedford for over 30 years.

Ruie Gay Fulks, 86, of Tunnelton, W. Va., passed away Tuesday, April
28 at her home.
She was born March 23, 1912, in Clay County, W. Va., daughter of the
late Henry and Lydia Downey Fulks. She was a homemaker and a member of
the Independent Christian Evangelical Church.
She is survived by five daughters, Joan Stalnaker of Tallmadge, Helen
Rumschlag of Akron, Jerrie Proffett of Sorrento, Fla., Sandra Funk of Tunnelton,
W. Va, and Carolyn Funk of Arthurdale, W. Va.; seven grandchildren, seven
great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren,
and nine stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers

Elizabeth C. ``Betty'' Sackett, 77, of Randolph, died Thursday at the
Alliance Community Hospital.
Born October 4, 1920, in Norton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Ignatius
and Elizabeth (Kungle) Kiss. Mrs. Sackett was the owner of Kiss Market
of Randolph. She was a member of the Randolph United Methodist Church and
the Ladies Cemetery Association of Randolph.
Survivors include her husband, Elmore ``Bud'' Sackett; daughters, Sandra
Sackett (Kenneth) Purser of Matthews, N.C., and Katherine (David) Miller
of Randolph; grandchildren, Matthew Miller, Courtney Miller and Lacey Miller,
all of Randolph. She was preceded in death by a son, Francis John ``Frankie''
Sackett, in 1953, and brothers, George and John Kiss.

Dorothy G. Morrison, 86, formerly of Bellevue Dr., Wooster, died Friday,
May 1, 1998, at Karrington of Wooster.
Born in Marshallville, Ohio, April 29, 1912, daughter of David W. (D.W.)
and Edith Keck Galehouse, she had been a teacher for 34 years, having taught
at Wooster Twp. and Wooster City Schools, retiring in 1972. She was an
active member of the First Presbyterian Church, was an avid gardener, glass
collector and traveler. She was a former member of the Wayne County Historical
Society, Early American Glass Club and the Four Seasons Garden Club. She
attended the College of Wooster and received her B.S. in Education from

Otto C. Metz, 88, of Marshallville, died Friday morning.
He was born on April 16, 1910, in Marshallville, to John and Anna (Schulenberger)
Metz. He worked as a crane operator for the Babcock & Wilcox Co. in
Barberton for 34 years, retiring in 1973.
Surviving are his wife, Ethel (Williams) Metz; son and daughter-in-law,
John C. and Ilene Metz of Orrville; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna Jean
and Robert Stoolmiller of Orrville, Joanne and Darrell Vandergrift of Minerva,
and Dolores ``Dee'' and Ron Shidler of Marshallville; seven grandchildren,

Jack H. Marstellar Sr., 79, of Elyria, passed away of natural causes
Thursday, April 30, at the Cleveland Clinic.
Mr. Marstellar had resided formerly in North Olmsted, North Ridgeville,
and Akron. He was semi-retired since 1988 as a sales representative for
Rooney Optical, Inc. of Brookpark, Ohio.
Mr. Marstellar was preceded in death by his first wife, the late Harriet,
in 1972. He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara J.; sons, Jack H.
(Mary) of Strongsville, Daniel B. (Sandra) of Akron, and Rob P. Wolanin
of Elyria; daughters, Carol S. (Gary) Jenovai of Milwaukee, Wis., Lisa
M. (Keith) Szczepanski of Elyria; and was the brother of Pat Seelye of
Cuyahoga Falls and Chet Marstellar of Chicago.
