Joseph David Estock, 86, of Cambridge, Ohio, passed away December 26, 1998, in Cambridge.
He leaves his wife; four children, including Mrs. Joseph (Karen) Yash of Stow, Ohio, one brother, and ten grandchildren.
Friends may call on Monday, Dec. 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home in Cambridge, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial with funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, with Father Robert Borer officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Richard D. ``Dick'' Eagon
Richard D. ``Dick'' Eagon passed away unexpectedly on December 25, 1998. He would have been 72 on January 6, 1999. 
Dick was born and raised in Akron, where he attended the old South High School and was an all-city center on their football team. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from Dec., 1944, until July, 1946, and, upon returning home from the service, he married his high school sweetheart, June D. Arnold. Dick was instrumental in the forming of the Highland Park Pee-Wee football team, and devoted many years as director and coach. He was still working as president of the family business, the Johns-Eagon Supply Company. Dick was a tough, but fair-minded businessman who gave no less than he expected out of others. His hard work, determination, and dedication built the company into the fine and respectable company it is today. Dick was a member of the Home Builders Association of Akron, the Builders Exchange, the V.F.W. 3383, and was also a member of Victory Lodge F.&A.M. His great passion in life was golf, and his good buddies at the Allenside Athletic Club will especially miss Dick and all the pranks that he pulled on and off the golf course. He was also a friend for all times.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Jessie; sister, Pauline; and most recently by his son, Jeff, on July 18, 1997. He is survived by his golf partner and loving wife of 52 years, June; son, Ric (Linda) of Akron; daughter, Teddy (Paul) Reese of Copley; and grandchildren, Jeff, Nicole, and Amy, all of Akron; as well as other family and countless good friends. Dick leaves his family the legacy of his devotion, sincerity, and his unending love. He was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Jeff, take good care of Dad for us. We love you and miss you both so very much.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd., Rev. Dale O. Smith officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mary Patty Donley, age 59, passed away Dec. 25, 1998.
She was born in Ft. Payne, Ala. She was a retired secretary and a resident of the Boston Hts. area for 35 years. 
Preceded in death by husband, Roger C., she is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Shelia T. and Adam Wiegandt of York, Pa., and Melinda Thomas of Akron; sister, Sarah E. Edmondson of Arab, Ala.; grandchildren, Kristy, Richard, Katie, David, and Charlie.

Mr. Dorsey Bolyard, 57, of Charleston, S.C., formerly of Akron, passed away suddenly December 26, 1998.
A 1959 graduate of Springfield High School, he leaves his wife of 38 years, Sue; son, Patrick; daughter, Kelly (Dave); two grandchildren; sisters, Adelaide Bolyard and Della Partyka.

Jessie Mae Bogue, 86, passed away Dec. 25, 1998.
Mrs. Bogue was born July 24, 1921, in Vincennes, Ind. She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Carl Bogue, Sr.; son, Rev. Carl (Rosalie) Bogue, Jr. of Clinton; daughter, Carol (Charles) Meuser of Albuquerque, N.M.; brothers, Boyd (Ann) Parker and Paul Parker; sister, Norma Morris; four grandchildren; and two great-granchildren.

Wendell J. Bognar, Jr., 66, passed away Friday, December 25, 1998.
He was born in Akron. He retired from the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. in 1982 with 31 years service, and was a member of the International Order of Foresters.
Mr. Bognar is survived by wife, Laura; sons, Erick (Virginia) of Akron, Scott of Akron; stepson, Glenn (Margaret) Clark of Akron; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was the devoted husband of Vera (nee Knotts); beloved father of Steven (Linda), David, Cathy (Larry) Angel and Debbie (Bob) Kruger; dear brother of Judy Thomas and Barbara Gamble; loving grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of one.

Viola M. Stalcup, 82 years, of West Akron, died Dec. 27, 1998.
Mrs. Stalcup was born in Clearfield, Pa., and had been a longtime Akron resident. She was a member of St. Sebastian's Catholic Church, enjoyed golf, and was an avid card player.

Mitchel L. Pursley, 38, died suddenly December 26, 1998. 
Mitchel was born in Wooster on June 27, 1960.

Johnny M. McGowan, Jr., 45, was born June 15, 1953, in Shubuta, Miss., and departed this life Dec. 23, 1998, at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital after a long illness.

George A. Kuhar, 68 years, of Akron, died December 26, 1998.
Born in Akron, he was a lifetime resident, and was a retired chemist at the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
Survivors include his son and his wife, Thomas and Janet Kuhar of Tallmadge; grandson, Adam Kuhar; and sister, Marie Gracy of Akron.

John E. Wolfe, 94, passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998.
He was born in Hungary, and retired from the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. in 1968 with 46 years service.
Mr. Wolfe is survived by his wife of 67 years, Helen; sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. John E. and Margaret A. of Bedford, Robert and Baughan of Florida; daughter, Sylvia Romario of Akron; sister, Elizabeth Szakal of Manchester; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Stuart (Stu) James Williams, 38, of Akron, was called home to be with the Lord on Dec. 27, 1998.
A life resident of the area, he attended the Kenmore Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by his father, James W.; and daughter, Josephine, he is survived by his wife, Debbie; son, Jim, both of Akron; mother and stepfather, Cheryl and Jack Straley; sister, Sandy (Kevin) Bricker of Akron; stepsisters, Kimberly Straley of Cuyahoga Falls, Jennifer Straley of California, Jill (Steve) Pinkerton of Cuyahoga Falls, Vicki (Bob) McKenica of Richfield; stepgrandparents, Jack and Genevieve Straley of Cuyahoga Falls; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Virginia Russo
Virginia Russo, 82, died Monday, Dec. 28, after a long struggle with lung disease.
Mrs. Russo was born Nov. 18, 1916, in Akron, to Domenic and Maria Santi, who had immigrated to the United States from Italy. Virginia was a wife, mother, and homemaker, who maintained a simple and modest lifestyle.
Her husband of 52 years, Vincent, died suddenly Dec. 16, 1998. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Don and Holly Russo of Klamath Falls, Ore.; daughters and son-in-law, Mary Romans, Catherine and John McKoski, all of Akron; grandchildren, Terra and Taylor Russo, Ann Marie and Jay Romans, Theresa, Joe, and Mary Kay McKoski; sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and John Russo of Port Orange, Fla.; brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Lucy Santi of Alabama.

Theresa Ulrich
BARBERTON -- Theresa Ulrich, 98, died Dec. 27, 1998, at Pleasant View Health Care Center.
She was born in Austria-Hungary, and resided in the Akron area most of her life. She was a member of St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by husband, Joseph, she is survived by son, Tony (Dot) Ulrich of Norton; daughters, Mary Stefan of Barberton and Dorothy (John) Lamont of Akron; nine grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Kathryn Pamer of Palmyra, Ohio; and two nieces.

BARBERTON -- Susie Mae VanDuzer, 90, died Dec. 26, 1998, at Doylestown Health Care Center.
She was born in Nashville, Tenn., and was a life resident of Barberton. She was employed by Babcock & Wilcox for 12 years as a secretary, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Barberton.
She is survived by daughters, Marjorie Caramela and Betty (Ronald) Coffman, both of Orlando, Fla., and Catherine Price of Barberton; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Raymond L. Reifsnyder
Raymond L. Reifsnyder, 65, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998.
Mr. Reifsnyder was born March 3, 1933, in Akron, the son of Henry and Winifred Llwelyn-Reifsnyder. He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber mixing plant in 1994 after 43 years, and then was employed for a brief time by Super Parts. Mr. Reifsnyder had been a resident of North Fort Myers for five years, having moved there from Stow. He was a member of Gulf Coast Baptist Church, the United Steelworkers of America Local 2, AFL-CIO-CLC, and an honorary member of the United Rubber, Cork, Linoleum, and Plastic Workers of America Local 2, AFL-CIO-CLC.
Mr. Reifsnyder is survived by his wife, Joyce of North Fort Myers, Fla.; children, Linda Moser of Zephyrhills, Fla., Donna Collins of Tampa, Fla., Larry McGee of Akron, Sandra White of Hudson, Tammy Kaczynski of Lake Milton, Ohio, Lisa Yeargin of Fort Myers, Fla., and Michael Reifsnyder of Hudson; 16 grandchildren, one great-grandson; and brother, Kenneth Reifsnyder of Akron.

Lillis B. (Sally) Musser, 84, died Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, at St. Thomas Medical Center.
She was born in Fredericksburg, Ohio, and was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Akron. Mrs. Musser was a retired school teacher from Manchester Public Schools with 30 years of service.
She was preceded in death by husband, Howard; and son, David. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Glen Robert of Green; sister, Orrel Hosfeld of Canton; grandchildren, Lori (Scott) Merryman of Green and Shelly (Sam) Ewing of Houston, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Eric and Lisa Merryman, and Jacob Ewing.

Patricia Gill McKinstry
Patricia Gill McKinstry passed away Dec. 27, 1998.
She was the daughter of James and Margaret Gill (deceased). Pat was born July 4, 1927, and loved celebrating her birthday with everyone.
She leaves her wonderful husband, John; most precious daughter, Peggy McKinstry Campbell of New York City; and her sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Bill Strabic, Frances and Joe Siegferth, and Barbara and Don Howard; sister-in-law, Eve and husband, Dick Wagner; many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her many Kappa sisters and her children, their parents, and staff at the Learning Centre.
Pat was a graduate of the University of Akron and was a Kappa Kappa Gamma. She served as president of the Alumnae Association and president of Lambda House Board. She taught in Akron, Riverside, and Edgewater Park, N.J., and for the past eight years had tutored at the Learning Centre of Akron.
Services will be held at 12 noon THURSDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Robert P. Combs officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Mary Jane Koltan, 69, passed away Dec. 23, 1998.
She retired from McKesson Drug Co. after 35 years of service, and was a 50-year member of the Eastern Star Twinsburg chapter.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Dachtler, and is survived by her daughters, Chris (Tina) Clarke and Jann Glove; and grandchildren, Chris, Rich and Jenny Sayles, Mike and Dan Jovic, and Natalie Clarke.

Mrs. Harrison was born in Paris Township, Ohio, and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of her life. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls and its Grace Circle and XYZ Fellowship.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl F.; and son, Robert J., and is survived by her grandchildren, Carl (Kathleen) Harrison of Cuyahoga Falls and Sherry Harrison of Los Angeles, Calif.; great-grandchildren, Robert, Julie, and Michael Harrison.

He was born April 24, 1923, in Jeromesville, Ohio, the son of Forrest B. and Della (Hosler) Garn.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Evelyn (Cevasco) Garn; sons, Denny (Janice) Garn of Milford, Mich., Jim Garn and Tom Garn, both of Sturgis; daughter, Mary Kay Ahmad of Columbia, Md.; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; sister, Mada Sims of Canton, Ohio.

Anna Faught, 93, passed away Dec. 27, 1998.
She was born in Martin County, Ky., lived most of her life in Tallmadge, and her last 30 years in Akron. She was affiliated with the Free Will Baptist Church, and was a homemaker.
Preceded in death by husband, Clifford, she is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Jack Holland of Medina; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Jean Faught of California; Donald and Lillian Faught of Tallmadge; sister, Ella Fletcher of Kentucky; grandchildren, Pamela Dibos, Mark Faught, Dean Faught, Vicki Mooney, Becky Hillegas, Jeff Holland, and Teresa Holland-Gresock; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Nathan G. Edelblute Jr.
Nathan G. Edelblute Jr., 74, passed away Dec. 25, 1998.
Nathan received a Bronze Star in the Asiatic Pacific Theater during World War II, and is a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 3383.
He is survived by his children, Nathan (Maggie) Edelblute III, Doug Edelblute, and Sue (Cary) Farmer, and their mother, Gladys LeBarre; sisters, Gail (Bill) Yount and Kay Dannehauer; grandchild, Casey Farmer; stepgrandchildren, Sara, Johnny, Zack, Katie, and Matthew.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m., Rev. Howard Powell officiating. Donald H. Drumm Sr.
BRIMFIELD -- Donald H. Drumm Sr., 85, died Dec. 28, 1998.
Mr. Drumm retired in 1977 as a foreman with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. after 44 years service. He was born in Akron and lived in Brimfield since 1962. He was a member of Emmanuel U.C.C., the Joppa Lodge 666 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Akron, Goodyear Blue & Gold Club, and also was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman, extremely active in the Goodyear Hunting & Fishing Club, receiving the president's ``Man of the Year'' award in 1991.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Stella, and is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Ted Stefanov of Uniontown; son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Paula Drumm Jr. of Tallmadge; sisters, Ethel Jones of Barberton, Madeline Schneider of Akron, and Doris Girard of Magnolia; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews; and special friend, Dorothy Koroly of Akron.
Funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Hennessy-Bagnoli Funeral Home, 339 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge, with Rev. Ray Deuring officiating. Burial at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Masonic services at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of other remembrances, donations may be given in memory of Donald H. Velma N. Carnal (nee Morris)
COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Velma N. Carnal (nee Morris), 84, died Thursday, Dec. 24, 1998.
She was a resident of Barberton, moving to South Carolina 15 years ago, and was a member of the Barberton First Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by husband, James E., she is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Caren and John Canaday of Columbia, S.C.; and grandchildren, Johnny Jr., Sheree, and Shawn.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, Jim Easterling officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be TONIGHT from 7 to 9. (Campfield-Hickman-Collier, 745-3161.)
