Dorothy was a bowler and a bridge player for many years and continued to water ski until she was 66. She loved the Lord and she embraced life to its fullest but her passion was her family which she often said was her greatest blessing. To her nine grandchildren she was Nanny, to her children she was Mom and to everyone she met and knew she was a sympathetic ear, a praying heart and a treasured friend. She loved and will be missed by her many church friends at Lowell United Church of Christ Volunteer Class, where she was a member for over 40 years. Recently she worshiped at Dueber United Methodist Church (Where Hope Is Found). There she was warmly embraced by the church family especially the Trailblazer\'s Class, where she experienced the true Agape love that can only come from those who have a relationship with Christ. Nanny requested no flowers, rather, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or Dueber United Methodist Church.
