Born in Spencer, West Virginia on January 30, 1906 to Harvey C. Atkinson and Lillie Dove Atkinson, she married William Dunaway on August 11, 1923 and he preceded her in death in 1976. She was also preceded in death by her son; Gerald, 1 brother and 1 sister. Pearl was a member of the Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church and had been employed by the L & K Restaurant.
SURVIVED BY
Her two sons; Harvey (Betty) Dunaway of Bonita Springs, Florida and William Dunaway of Caledonia, 14 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 26 great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild.

Friday, June 16, 2000 at 10:00 A.M. at the HUGHES-ALLEN FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Grover Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in the Iberia Cemetery. Born in Gallipolis, Ohio on October 23, 1939, she married David Shumaker on August 22, 1964 and he survives in Caledonia. Gertrude had worked as a dietary aid at Morning View Nursing Home and most recently at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents; Clarence & Delores Scott.

Her husband; David, her four daughters; Mrs. Andy (Debbie) Easterday, Mrs. Terry (Tammy) Starcher, Mrs. Jerry (Rosemary) James and Mitzi Shumaker, all of Marion, two brothers; Donald Collins of Oregon and Clarence Collins of Florida, a half-brother; Melvin Tennery of Tennessee and 11 grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at the Grand Prairie Cemetery with Rev. Grover Caudill officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House c/o your local McDonald's Restaurant. Funeral arrangements are being handled for her family by the HUGHES-ALLEN FUNERAL HOME.

He was born in Marion, Ohio March 8, 1934. Joe was a lifetime resident of Marion. He graduated Harding High School and attended Ohio State University and Miami Universite in Oxford, Ohio. Joe was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served from 1953 to 1955 during the Korean Conflict. he was a member of AmVets Post 620, Whetstone Country Club, and formerly a member of the Marion Country Club. Joe was formerly a partner in Buettin Sales Co., a family owned business in Marion. He later worked independantly as a manufacturer's representative. Recently he was employed by TGL Electronics, Inc. in Columbus as a sales representative.

Daughter Katherine E. Buettin, brother William H. Buetting, sisters Maxine B. Welch and Phyllis A. Midlam, nephews Bradley and Dan Buettin; Jim, Rob, Kim and Kerry Welch; Mike Midlam; a neice Jody A. Register; and his many friends.

He was born November 27,1918 in Carthage, Ohio to the late John E. and Cora Snell. On March 29, 1947 he married Frances A. (Massie) who survives. He formerly worked at Pollick Steel or Marion, then became R.P.D. Clerk for the U.S. Postal Service working the last several years of his career as bulk mail clerk in Mansfield, Ohio. He was a member of Central Christian Church, was an avid bowler and enjoyed golf. He served in the U.S. Army Medical Company from 1941 to 1945.

His wife, 1 daughter, 1 son, 2 step grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, 2 neices, 1 great neice, and 2 great nephews.

His parents, his wife, children Jefferson N. Cianfa and Lauren R. Cianfa, sister Barbara Lofink, brother-in-law James Grimsley, and 3 neices and 1 nephew.

Nancy was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on October 2, 1915 to George A. and Janet (Taylor) Beasley. She was a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Marine Corps. She was married on January 25, 1947 to Richard A. Bjorson who preceded her in death as did her brother; Robert B. Plunkett. A homemaker, she was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church.
SURVIVED BY
Her brothers; Kemper Beasley of Marion and George (Ruth) Beasley of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, 3 nephews and 1 niece. 
FUNERAL SERVICES
Wednesday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the HUGHES-ALLEN FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Sherwood Anderson officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until the time of services at the HUGHES-ALLEN FUNERAL HOME. A graveside committal service will be held Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at Scioto Burial Park in Scioto County, Ohio. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
