Tim was born May 20, 1932 in Logan, West Virginia to Elijah and Lena
(Vannatter) Pauley. He married the former Abbie J. White on May 9, 1953
and she survives at home. A veteran of the United States Navy, he served
his country during the Korean War as an aircraft mechanic and was the recipient
of a Purple Heart. Tim was the owner of the Timothy O. Pauley Insurance
Agency with State Farm Insurance, was a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ
Of Latter Day Saints, past president of the Marion Noon Lions Club and
a member of the Marion Popcorn Festival Committee. Tim was preceded in
death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

His wife; Abbie, his 2 sons; Don (Kathy) Pauley of Columbus and Gary
(Karen) Pauley of Marysville, his 3 daughters; Mrs. Keith (Sherry) Snyder
of Marion, Mrs. Wendell (Karen) Decker of Prospect and Mrs. Reddy (Michelle)
Brown of Richwood, his 2 sisters; Bonnie Vannatter of Leet, West Virginia
and Garnet Ford of Logan, West Virginia, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Monday, April 30, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. at The Church Of Jesus Christ
Of Latter Day Saints, 1725 Marion-Edison Road with Greg Curtis, Branch
President officiating. Burial will follow in the Caledonia Cemetery where
military honors will be observed by the Marion County Joint Veteran's Council.
Friends may call Sunday afternoon from 2-5 P.M. at the HUGHES-ALLEN FUNERAL

Born in Delaware, Ohio on January 18, 1949 to John William Jones Jr.
and Mary Henrietta (Filiatrault) Jones, he had lived in the Santa Barbara
area for almost 30 years. A 1967 graduate of Elgin High School and a 1971
graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, he received his Masters
degree from the University of California-Santa Barbara and did further
work at San Louis Obipso University pursuing a career in software engineering.
An accomplished runner, he was a three time state champion in the two mile
event. John was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Santa Barbara
where he sang in the church choir.

His mother; Henrietta Jones of Marion, his brother; Dr. James Hughes
Jones M.D. (Lisa) of Zionsville, Indiana, his sister; Mary Jill Landon
(Dr. Jeff) of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, 5 nephews; Benjamin Chrispin
Jones, Christopher Jones, James Nicholas Jones, Benjamin Landon and Todd
Landon and his niece; Emily Landon.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 13, 2000 at 11:00 A.M.
