ALBERTA KINGSLEY MOSELEY
FREEVILLE: Alberta Kingsley Moseley, 96 formerly of 108 Benson Road,
Freeville died Friday morning, November 22, 2002 at The Groton Nursing
Facility.
Born March 16, 1906 in Lansing, she was the daughter of the late Charles
Michael and Mary Emmeline Harris Kingsley and the widow of Carlyle
O. Moseley,
who died January 15, 1987. Alberta was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother,
cook and baker, par excellence; gardener and outdoorswoman who enjoyed
fishing.
For many years, she was involved with family farms in Dryden and Lansing.
Though blind and wheelchair bound, she was an avid reader. She
strived for
life-long-learning and took pleasure in her Talking Books, often reading
5 per
week. Her wisdom, comfort and friendship were a blessing to all
that knew her.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol Farkas of Lansing; 6 grandchildren,
Martin (Wanda) Farkas, Karyn (George) Rushlow, Mark (Margaret)
Moseley, Renee
Farkas, Cathy (Fred) Moore, Glen (Arlene) Moseley, 8 great grandchildren,
9
great great grandchildren, 4 nieces and 2 nephews. In addition to her
parents
and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Donald and
Douglas R.
Moseley; sister Audrey Howser, great grandson, Matthew Moseley and
her step
father Ward Teeter.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, 12Noon at The Lansing Funeral Home,
Inc.
Interment will be in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. The family will
receive
friends one hour prior to the funeral service, at the funeral home,

SEYMOUR A. LAMPERT
Mr. Seymour A. Lampert, 85 of 116 Cascadilla Street, Ithaca, New York
died
Friday morning, November 29, 2002 at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca.
Born April 9, 1917 in New York, New York, he was the son of the late
William
and Martha Noble Lampert. Prior to retirement, Mr. Lampert was
a Certified
Public Accountant. He served his country during WWII in The United
States Army
and received an honoralbe discharge in 1946. He was a devoted
family man, who
possessed a wonderful sense of humor and a deep appreciation for the
arts and
dancing.
Survivors include his wife Adrienne (nee Kochman) of Ithaca, two daughters,
Rachel Lampert (David Squires) of Ithaca, Sara Lampert Hoover (Bruce)
of
Urbana, IL, his son Leonard Lampert of Ithaca and his cherished granddaughter
Montana Lampert Hoover.
Funeral services will be Sunday, 1:00pm at Lakeview Cemetery, Ithaca.
Rabbi Ed
Rosenthal will officiate. There are no calling hours.

LEONA TEETER DORIA
LANSING: Leona Teeter Doria, 85 of 955 Ridge Road, Lansing
died Monday
afternoon, December 2, 2002 at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca.
Born July 14, 1917 in Ithaca, New York, she was the daughter of the
late Leo
and Blanche Barnes Teeter and the widow of David R. Doria, who died
July 11,
2001.
Mrs. Doria was employed as a Physical Education Teacher with the Lansing
Central School System for a number of years and was inducted into the
Lansing
Hall of Fame. She was a member of The Lansing United Methodist
Church.
Survivors include her daughter Lynne (John) Siddell of Lansing and
her three
grandsons, Steve, Kris and Ken Stevens, her sister in law Peggy Teeter,
several
nieces and nephews..
Funeral services will be Thursday, 11:00am at The Lansing United Methodist
Church, 32 Brickyard Road, Lansing. Interment in North Lansing
Cemetery will
be delayed.

NAN STONE FARRELL HUTCHINS
Nan Stone Farrell Hutchins, age 72 of 4608 Limeledge Road, Marcellus,
New York
died early Wednesday morning, December 4, 2002 at her residence.
Her family
was at her side.
Botn March 25, 1930 in Marcellus, New York, she was the daughter of
the late
Horace M. and Norma Walsh Stone and the widow of her first husband,
James J.
Farrell who died in 1973. Mrs. Hutchins was a member of The Young
Republicans
Of Syracuse, New York, the Marcellus Parent/Child Nursery School, The
Marcellus
Chorale, Marcellus Home Bureau, was the 1967 Chairman for the American
Cancer
Society and had volunteered at the McCarthy School as an Aide, after
the death
of her first husband. She was employed as a Licensed Practical
Nurse for Van
Duyn Home and Hospital for 15 years.
Survivors include her husband Arnold T. Hutchins of Marcellus, New
York, her
daughter, Elizabeth Daly of Houston, Texas, 6 sons, William (JoAnn)
of Cuba,
New York, Robert, Michael and David all of Marcellus, New York, David
Hutchins
of Auburn , New York, and Christopher Hutchins, her sister Marguerite
Mead of
Queensbury. New York
Funeral services will be held privately on Saturday morning.
The family will
receive friends on Friday, between the hours of 4:00pm and 7:00pm at
the NORRIS
FUNERAL HOME, 33 North Street, Marcellus, New York. Interment
will be in
Highland Cemetery, in the spring.

Services for Jon "Jay" David King, age 48 of 19 Turkey Hill Road, Ithaca,
New
York will be Tuesday, December 17, 2002, 11:00am at SAGE CHAPEL on
The Cornell
University Campus. Jay died on Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at
his residence.
Jay is the son of Dr. John and Marie (nee Ryan) King of Cayuga Heights,
fiance
of Heidi Russell of Ithaca, nephew of John Oset of Wilmington, DE,
and is
survived by several other aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of very
close
friends.

JUDITH RUTH GINSBURG
ITHACA: Professor Judith Ruth Ginsburg, 58 of Ithaca died early
Saturday
morning, December 28, 2002 at her residence.
Born October 18, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the
late
Morris and Nancy (nee Soiref ) Ginsburg , originally of Omaha, NE.
and formerly
of Los Angeles, CA.
Judith graduated from Central High School in Omaha, NE in 1962.
She received
her Bachelors’ and Doctrate degrees in Classics and Roman History at
U.C.
Berkeley and her Masters’ degree at U.C.L.A. She was both a fellow
and
frequent researcher at The American Academy in Rome. Judith was employed
as a
Professor of Classics and taught at Cornell University from 1976 until
the time
of her death.
Survivors include her beloved partner Miri Amihai (Collins), her brother
James
of Venice,CA, several aunts, uncles and cousins in the United States
and in
Israel.
A Memorial service will be held in the spring on the campus of Cornell
University. Details will be announced once complete. Funeral
services with
burial will be in Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Hollywood Hills, California will
be
private.
