Paul L. McCann BATH | Paul L. McCann, 71, of Bubbling Springs Road, Hammondsport, died Friday, June 21, 2002, at Ira Davenport Hospital. A veteran of the Korean War, he retired eight years ago from Mercury Aircraft, Hammondsport, after 40 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Martha McIntire McCann; four sons, Roger McCann of Florida, Stephen McCann and Michael McCann, both of Wayne, and Kevin McCann of Dundee; a sister, Velma Vonderchek of Watkins Glen. McClure MANSFIELD, PA. | Lavere W. McClure, 69, of Bloomsburg, died unexpectedly Monday, Aug. 12, 2002. He retired from Bloomsburg University where he was a professor in Earth sciences department. Survivors include two sons, Larry McClure of Danville and Lee McClure of Morrero, La.; two brothers, Wendel McClure of Mansfield and Marshall McClure of Roseville; a sister, Mary Lee Trowbridge of Wellsboro. McConnell, 70, of Round Lake Road, Savona, N.Y., died Monday, April 22, 2002 at Robert Packer Hospital. He had been a ticket agent for Mohawk Airlines, Eastern Airlines and Braniff Airlines, retiring in 1986. Survivors include five sons, John McConnell, Jerry McConnell, Jeffrey McConnell, Lewis McConnell and Stephen McConnell; four daughters, Debbie Owen, Suzanne Vester, Cheryl McGraw and Donna Williams; three brothers, Henry McConnell, Phillip McConnell and Gary McConnell; two sisters, Dot Richardson and Bea Stevens. He had been an auto mechanic retiring from K-Mart in 1985. Survivors include his wife Doris McDaniels; a daughter, Roberta Lynn Gonzalez of Hornell; five sons, Timothy Irving McDaniels of Hornell, Gary Edward McDaniels of Washington, Paul Allen McDaniels of Indiania, Lynn John McDaniels and Joseph Raymond McDaniels, both of Washington; two sisters, Kathleen E. Tuttle of Caton and Flossie Wagner of Canisteo; a brother, Asa Joseph McDaniels of North Hornell. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran of the Korean War and a retiree of F.M. Howell Co. of Elmira. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Wilcox McDonald; a son, Richard McDonald of Campbell; a daughter, Tracy Pazzaglia of Elmira; three step sons, Donald Taft, of Corning, Ken Taft, of Elmira, and Kris Taft of Arizona; two step daughters, Mary Taft, of Wellsburg and Kimberly Taft, of Corning; a sister, Maxine Loe of Plummer Idaho. Davis McEachern, 91, of 48 Pine St., Hornell, died Tuesday, March 12, 2002 at Rochester General Hospital after a brief illness. She was employed by the former Erie Railroad accounting bureau and by Family and Child Services in Erie, Pa. Survivors include three stepsons, William McEachern of Hartland, Mich., Neil McEachern of Detroit, and John McEachern of Tokyo, Japan; two sisters, Genevieve Chapin of Elmira and Mary Fenton of Hornell; two brothers, Robert Binney of Slidell, La. and William Binney of Rushville. McFarland CORNING | Willa Mae McFarland, 88, of Founders Pavilion, formerly of Dayspring I, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002 at Corning Hospital. Second St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Ralph A. McGory BATH | Ralph A. McGory, 88, a resident of the Steuben County Health Care Facility and formerly of Mitchellsville Hill Road, died Saturday, April 27, 2002, at the facility. He retired several years ago as an inspector at Mercury Aircraft in Hammondsport. He also had owned and operated McGory's Rest Homes in Bath. Survivors include a nephew, Robert Greene of Lancaster, and friends Martin and Linda Cornish and the Lester Erway family. Calling hours are 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the LaMarche Funeral Home, 35 Main St., Hammondsport. Services will be held there at the conclusion of calling hours at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Hammondsport. Robert H. McGuckin Jr. ARKPORT | Robert H. "Bob" McGuckin Jr., 86, of 57 Main St., The Oaks, died Monday, June 17, 2002. He had been employed by the former SKF Industries in Hornell as supervisor of Inventory, retiring in 1972. Survivors include a son, Robert H. McGuckin III of Alexandria, Va.; his fiancee, Eleanor White of Arkport; a sister, Elizabeth Keller of Fogelsville, Pa. There will be no calling hours. McHenry Jr. CORNING | Thomas A. McHenry Jr., 77, formerly of Corning, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002 at the Gloversville Residential Health Care Facility. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. He owned McHenry's Garage in Corning. Survivors include two sons, Thomas G. McHenry of Rosewell, Ga., and Don McHenry of Johnstown; a daughter, Mary Kate Gentile of Wrentham, Mass.; a sister Betty Beaulieau of Yorktown. Calling hours are at 6 p.m. today at the home of Don McHenry, 201 W. Second Ave., Johnstown. A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent's Church in Corning. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Corning. Rev. Donald McIlvride ROCK STREAM | The Rev. Donald McIlvride, 77, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2002 at home. He was a retired Presbyterian minister and was interim pastor at the Weston and Dundee Presbyterian churches. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Marjorie F. McIlvride, at home; two sons, William Allen McIlvride of Honeoye Falls and Robert McIlvride of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; a sister, Helen Grace Baltz of Lakewood, Colo. Elizabeth McInnis OLD SAYBROOK, Conn. | Elizabeth "Lala" McInnis, 64, of Nutmeg Circle, Old Saybrook, formerly of Corning, N.Y., died Sunday, June 23, 2002 at Middlesex Hospice after a long illness. Survivors include her husband Allan J. McInnis; one son, John "Chip" Geisler of Londonberry, N.H. one daughter, Julie Geisler of New York City; two brothers, Charles Lafollete of San Francisco, Calif. and Gerry Lafollette of Indianapolis, Ind.; two stepsons, Tim McInnis of New York City and Dann McInnis of Shelton; one stepdaughter, Lisa McInnis of Norwalk.
