Leon C. Harrau CORNING | Leon C. Harrau, 79, of Corning, died Saturday, May 11, 2002 at his home on Wilson Street. He was a retired employee of Corning Inc. where he was foreman of the firm's former Pressware plant. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Harrau of Stoughton, Mass., and Bonnie Harrau of Corning; and a son, David Bliss of Grove City, Ohio. Calling Hours are 7-9 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home Inc., 17 W. Pulteney St. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Hartwell PENN YAN | Donald Clair Hartwell, 53, of South Hamilton Street, Painted Post, died Saturday, March 30, 2002 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital. He had worked for Corning Inc. as an inspector at the Pressware plant for over 20 years. A 1972 graduate of Horseheads High School, Horseheads, N.Y., she was a partner in Piscataqua Landscaping Co. Inc. and designed perennial gardens. She retired from Piscataqua in 1994 and was ordained a minister of sacred arts by the International Healers Assembly of Spiritual Healers and Earth Stewards in 1999. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Booth Hemingway; two sons, Sam Hemingway and Booth Hemingway, both of Kittery; her mother, Irene Orsini of Big Flats, N.Y.
