Cameron Mills (Risingville), NY died Wednesday March 6, 2002 
at Corning Hospital, Corning, New York.
She was born January 10, 1943 in Corning, NY the daughter of 
Charles and Edna (Dailey) VanZile. She was an employee of 
Corning Inc., working as a polisher and tank operator.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Neoska and Jeffrey 
Snyder of Alexandria, VA; sons, Richard Young of Bath, NY and 
Kevin Young of Marion, NY; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandson; 
brothers, Harry VanZile of Tioga, PA and Elwin VanZile of 
Tioga, PA; sister, Patty Carr of Caton, NY, several nieces, 
nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to call at the Kenyon Funeral Home, 
Elkland, PA Saturday 7-9 P.M. and Sunday 12-2:00 PM where 
funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Clifford 
Whitehead officiating. Burial in Nelson Cemetery, Nelson, PA.



Authur C. Zilinski 
BATH | Arthur C. Zilinski, 60, of Mt. Washington Road, Bath, 
N.Y., died at his home April 4, 2002.
Art was born Dec. 20, 1941 in Rochester, N.Y., the son of 
Charles and Emma Ott Zilinski. Art was a retired fireman for 
the city of Rochester, N.Y.
Art owned and operated AZ enterprises of Bath. Art was an Army 
veteran, a member of Bath Elks Lodge #1547, Charles E. Wescott 
American Legion Post #173 Bath, a past member of Hammondsport 
Moose.
Art is survived by his parents of Bath; sister Joyce Jackson 
of Gettysburgh, Pa.; brother James (Janet) Zilinski of Lenox, 
Mass.; 5 nieces and nephews; 2 great nephews and 1 great 
niece.; aunts and uncles Clara Zilinski of Bath; Jane and Owen 
Nesius of Rochester; Eugene and Eleanor Zilinski of Rochester, 
Wendell Leake of Brockport.
An Elks memorial service will be held at Fagan's Funeral Home, 
31 W. Morris St., Bath, on Tuesday, April 9 at 11:30 a.m. with 
funeral services to follow with the Rev. Anne Wassdorp 
officiating.

Donna M.  Zydanowicz 
Donna M. Zydanowicz, 74, of 105 Maple Heights, Bath, passed 
away at home on Saturday, March 2, 2002 surrounded by her 
family, after a lengthy illness. Donna was a kind and gentle 
woman who will be greatly missed by her family and many 
friends. Donna was born in Bingham-ton, NY, on June 4, 1927, 
the daughter of the late Orlo and Minerva (Read) Finch. She 
was a graduate of Haverling High School and well known 
throughout the area as owner and operator of "Donna's 
Antiques" shop for over 40 years.
Donna and Walter S. Zydanowicz were married on October 26, 
1946 at St. Mary's Church in Bath.
She is survived by her beloved husband and best friend of 55 
years, Walter, and her devoted children, daughters, Kim 
(Roger) Pruden, Terry Sack and fiance Jon Haight, Sherry 
Zydanowicz and friend Dennis Hoad, her son Bryan (Penny) 
Zydan-owicz, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 
several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 
her sister Edwina (Finch) Hawthorne of Dallas, TX.
Friends may call on Monday, March 4th from 6:00-9:00 PM at 
Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath. The Rosary will be recited at 
9:00 PM. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's 
Church in Bath where a Mass of Christian Burial will be 
celebrated by the Reverend Richard Shatzel. Burial will at the 
convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial 
donations in Donna's name may be made to the Bath Knights of 
Columbus Council 5147, 321 West Washington Blvd., Bath, NY 
14810, Vol. Ambulance Corps. of Bath, 110 E. Steuben St.,

of Corning, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002.
He had worked at Cargill Salt and the Falls Home.
Survivors include his wife, Colleen Abreu; three daughters, 
Connie Schoonover of Fairport, Cathie Randall of Montour 
Falls, and Christie Miller of Rock Stream; two brothers, 
Anthony Abreu of Corning and John Abreu of California.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at 
St. Mary's on the Lake Church, the Rev. Paul Bonacci

ELMIRA | Debra VanDewark Adams, 36, of Elmira, died Sunday, 
Aug. 18, 2002.
She had worked as a customer service representative for the 
Travelers Property and Casualty of Elmira.
Survivors include a son, Sean Adams of Wellsburg; three 
brothers, William VanDewark, James VanDewark and Shane 
VanDewark, all of Wellsburg; two sisters, Traci VanDewark of 
Elmira and Kelly Davis of Wellsburg; her grandmother, Marian 
VanDewark of Sayre; parents, Barbara Northrup of Painted Post, 
Dorene and John VanDewark of Wellsburg, William and Lynne 
VanDewark of Pine City.

Wednes-day, April 3, 2002 at Cole Memorial Hospital.
He had worked for Union Carbide in Niagara Falls, N.Y. and at 
Erway's Farm in Coudersport.
Survivors include a son, Durwood Adams of Mills.

Sunday, March 3, 2002 at Schuyler Hospital.
He had worked for the International Salt Company for many 
years.
Survivors include two sons, John E. Adesso of Bethel Park, 
Pa., and James J. Adesso of Albany; a sister, Constance Coco 
of Miami, Fla.

Hazel  Albert 
HORNELL | Hazel Albert, 95, formerly of Amory Place, Hornell, 
died Saturday, March 16, 2002 at St. James Mercy Hospital in 
Hornell.
She worked as an operator for the New York Telephone Company 
for 30 years before retiring in the mid-1960s.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Gonyo of Rochester.
Calling hours are noon-2 p.m. Tuesday at Dagon Funeral Home, 
38 Church St., Hornell.

HORNELL | Helen M. Albright, 84, of 43 Adsit St., died Friday, 
March 29, 2002 at McAuley Manor after a short illness.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Albright of Clayton, N.C.

Marilynn McKee.

HORNELL | Simon A. Aldrich, 65, of 5140 E. Valley Road, Alfred 
Station, died Tuesday, April 2, 2002 at St. James Hospital.
He had been a design engineer for the New York State 
Department of Transportation in Hornell for 31 years.
Survivors include his wife, Helena Knox Aldrich; three 
daughters, Shelly Kok of South Holland, Ill., Judith Jones of 
Brockport and Jill Giese of Hornell; his mother, Ethelyn 
Aldrich of Alfred Station; two sisters, Alice Bel Aldrich of 
Alfred Station and Frances Reynolds of Spencerport.

East Valley Road, Alfred Station.

PAINTED POST | Forrest L. Aldrich, 20, of Meads Creek Road, 
died unexpectedly, Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002 at home.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Janice and 
Douglas Shepard of Painted Post; his grandmother, Evelyn 
Fredrickson of Burdett; a brother, Matthew Aldrich of Florida; 
six sisters, Pam Farley of Mississippi, Kristy Rhines of 
Massachusetts, Heather Waters of Beaver Dams, Aron Aldrich and 
Jessica Aldrich, both of Tennessee, and Grace Aldrich of 
Campbell.

FREMONT | Loretta R. Alexander, 78, of 8457 Cream Hill Road, 
died Friday, Aug. 30, 2002 at home.
She worked at Birdseye in Avon and Bob's Appliances in 
Hornell.

He had been a retired dairy farmer in Cameron.

daughter, Velta Gros Jean of North Miami, Fla.; three sons, 
Arnold Allen of Hornell, Hugh C. Allen of Cameron and LaRue F.

employed dairy farmer.

She had been an inspector at Corning Inc., retiring in 1979 
after 38 years of service.

Sandy Kohler of Addison; and two brothers, William Aumick Jr. 
and Lee Aumick.

died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center.
He was a cheese-maker at Polly-O in Campbell.

a long illness.

died Wednesday, June 12, 2002 at the Crouse Community Center 
in Morrisville.
She resided in the Hornell-Almond area for most of her life.
Survivors include two sons, Parker Brownell of Oviedo, Fla., 
and Rick Bagley of Albuquerque, N.M.; one daughter, Karen 
McLean of Cazenovia.
