Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9, Clifton Park, and at 10 a..m. at St. Mary's Church, Crescent where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours Sun., 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford.

Rose Alleca Ellis
Rotterdam -- Rose Alleca Ellis, 87, of Curry Road, Rotterdam, died Thursday, August 1, 2002 at St. Clare's Hospital. Born in Sicily, Rose came to the United States in 1925 and attended local schools. She was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Church and the Ten Eyck Senior Citizens. Her husband William Ellis died in 1986. She is the mother of Patricia Coons of Schenectady, and the late Richard Ellis; Mother– in–law of Joy Ellis of Burke, VA; sister of Joseph Alleca of West Sand Lake, Angelo Alleca of Albany, the late Margaret Alleca, Antoinette Alleca, and Anna Alleca. Rose had five grandchildren, Teresa Repscher of Esperance, Pamala Bikowicz of St. Cloud, FL, Joseph Coons of Scotia, Michael Ellis of North Miami, FL, and Derek Ellis of Sterling, VA; six great–grandchildren, Charity Bender of Schoharie, Timothy Bikowicz of Virginia, Shayne Repscher of Esperance, Jason Coons of Ft. Hood, TX., Robert Coons of Scotia, and Joseph Coons, Jr., of Scotia. She is also survived by two great–granddaughters, Serena and Gabrielle Bender of Schoharie. Funeral services will be held Monday, 8:15 a.m. from the DeMarco–Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Followed at 9 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Assumption Church. Calling hours will be Sunday, 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. John's Cemetery.

Margaret H. Fetterly
Schenectady -- Margaret H. Fetterly, 79, of N. College St., died suddenly at home on Thursday. Born and educated in Herkimer, Margaret resided most of her life in Schenectady. For over 30 years Margaret worked at Coyne Textile Services, before retiring in 1980. At one time Margaret was a member of the Annie Shaffer Senior Citizen Center. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Hoffman, of Palatine Bridge; two grandchildren, and eight great–grandchildren. Funeral services will be at one o'clock, Monday afternoon at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A one hour calling hour will precede the funeral service. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

Nancy Pape Gabriel
Niskayuna -- Nancy Pape Gabriel, 98, of St. David's Lane, Niskayuna, died Thursday, August 1, 2002 at home after a brief illness. Born in Mertalagon, Italy, Mrs. Gabriel lived in this area most of her life. She was the co–owner of Gabriels Market in Rotterdam since 1959. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church, the Church Rosary Society and Senior Citizens. The Rosary Society members are asked to meet 7 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. She was the wife of the late Anthony Gabriel who died in 1959. Mrs. Gabriel was also predeceased by a daughter Julia Audi. Mrs. Gabriel is survived by Rose Matarazzo of this city, Mary Matarazzo and her husband Pat of Niskayuna, Antoinette Stokes of Abion, Michigan, Amelia Painton of Worchester, MA, Ellen Gabriele and her husband Rudy of Niskayuna, Nancy Marotta and her husband Ernie of Niskayuna. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 29 great–grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 9:15 a.m. from the Daly Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Sunday afternoon from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will be at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. Contributions may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Church Parish Fund, 2777 Albany St., Schenectady, NY 12304.

Gloversville -- Rose K. Gentile, 86, formerly of South McNab Street, died Wed. evening at the Fulton County Residential Health Care Facility. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Sat. 9 a.m. at the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Gloversville. Calling hours are Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Ehle Funeral Home, North William Street, Johnstown. Interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown.

Charles L. Lambert
Johnstown -- Charles L. Lambert, of St. Hwy 67, Johnstown died on July 28, 2002. There were no calling hours. Cremation was at Parkview Crematory, Schenectady. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Barter & Donnan Funeral Home, 1 North Melcher St., Johnstown, NY.

Tracy Millis
Saratoga Springs -- Tracy Millis, 78, died August 1, 2002 after a long illness. Survivors include three sons, Tracy III, Robert, and James, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. on Monday at the Burke/Bussing Funeral Homes, 628 N. Broadway, Saratoga. Calling hours Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. Donations may be made to the Adirondack Branch of the Alzheimer's Association of NE NY.

Cindy M. Vokins
Town of Oppenheim -- Cindy M. Vokins, 47, of 482 County Highway 151, St. Johnsville, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2002 at her home after a long illness. She was born January 27, 1955 in Schenectady, the daughter of Eleanor I. (Jensen) Vokins and the late Davis W. Vokins, Sr. Cindy was a graduate of Oppenheim–Ephratah High School, Class of 1973, and was a lifelong resident of the town of Oppenheim. Miss Vokins was last employed for 20 years at Niagara Mohawk working in Troy, Cobleskill, Schenectady and her main office in Gloversville. At one time she was a hairdresser in Herkimer. Survivors include her mother, Eleanor; a brother, Davis W. Vokins, Jr. and his wife, Emma of St. Johnsville; two sisters, Sandra Mosenthin and her husband, Ted of Salisbury Center, and Linda Desmond and her husband, Allen of Ilion; five nephews, Davis W. Vokins, III, Michael Vokins, Frank Desmond and his wife, Heather, Corey Desmond, and Matthew Mosenthin; three nieces, Joelle and Danielle Desmond, and Marisa Mosenthin; one great-nephew, Michael Desmond; and one great-niece, Morgan Desmond; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2002 at 3 p.m. from the Enea Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, NY. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Saturday, August 3, 2002 from noon until the time of the services. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family. All memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics or to Ambulance Service of Fulton County. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
