Fulton: Michael R. Milner, 47, of 337 Pathfinder Court, Fulton, died Tuesday, August 17, 1999, in the A. L. Lee Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Milner was born in Fulton and has been a lifetime resident. He was employed by Owens Illinois, Fulton, for approximately ten years and was an auto salesman for W. T. Anderson Ford/Lincoln/Mercury, Fulton. Mr. Milner was a member of the Marine Corp. League and a communicant of Holy Family Church.
Survived by: He is survived by one son, Michael R. Milner, Jr. of North Carolina; two daughters Allison M. Milner of Oswego; Lisa Milner of North Carolina; one sister Patricia Raponi of Fulton and several nephews.
Calling Hours: Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 8:30 a.m. from the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., Fulton and at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Family Church were a Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 West Second Street, Fulton.
Burial: will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Fulton. The family requests contributions be made to the Marine Corps League or Holy Family Human Development.

Beulah B. Bonnell, 78
Fulton: Beulah B. Bonnell, 78, of Durbin Road, Hannibal, died Thursday, August 19, 1999 at St. Luke Residential Health Care Facility, Oswego.
Mrs. Bonnell was born in the town of Schroeppel, December 22, 1920, a daughter of Charles and Luella Moyer Pierce. She was predeceased by her husband, George C. Bonnell in December 1987. Beulah Bonnell attended the Hannibal Senior Nutrition Center and enjoyed embroidery and doing crossword puzzles.
She was predeceased by three sons, Richard in 1952, Frederick in 1994 and George in 1996; and a daughter Kathleen in 1997 and a grandson Christopher in 1998.
Survived by: three daughters, Marsha Quigley of Hannibal, Barbara Morrison of Fulton, Nancy Wright of Martville; a son Curtis Bonnell of Fulton; two sisters Irma Kimball of Fulton, Mildred Dailey of Amsterdam; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Calling Hours: Monday, August 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 24, at the Young & Son Funeral Home, 322 Oneida Street, Fulton.
Burial: Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Reverend Mark D. Kimpland, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Fulton, officiating. 

Joseph Pappalardo, 86

Fulton: Joseph Pappalardo, 86, of 56 West Third Street South, Fulton, died Tuesday at St. Luke Health Center, Oswego.
A native of Sicily, Mr. Pappalardo entered America at age 17 and had resided in Fulton for over 60 years. He retired in 1966 from the Nestle Company, Fulton, after 21 years. He had also worked as a muck farmer for many years.
Mr. Pappalardo was a communicant of Holy Family Church, Fulton.
He was predeceased by his wife, Antoinette G. Belfiore Pappalardo, who died in 1998. 
Survived by: a daughter, Rose G. Vanella of Oswego; two sons, Salvatore J. Pappalardo of Youngstown and Rosario "Ross" Pappalardo of Fulton; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Calling Hours: Services will be held 10:15 AM Friday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton, and 11:00 AM Friday at Holy Family Church, Fulton. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. 
Burial: Burial is at St. Mary's Cemetery, Fulton. 

Salvatore "Sam" Guarrera, 77
Feb. 21, 2000
Fulton: Salvatore "Sam" Guarrera, 77, of 872 Oneida Street, Fulton, died Friday at Birchwood Health Care Center, Liverpool.
A native of Scriba, Mr. Guarrera was a life resident of the Fulton area. He retired in 1987 from Nestle Company, Fulton, after over 40 years. He had also worked with his father on the Vito Guarrera Sr. & Sons Crop Farm in Volney.
Mr. Guarrera was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Fulton. He was a member of the Oswego County Vegetable Growers Association and the Nestle Quarter Century Club. He was an avid gardener and hunter.
Survived by: his wife of 52 years, Verna A. Guarrera of Fulton; a daughter, Grace A. Lincoln of Liverpool; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours: were 3:00 - 6:00 pm Sunday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. 
Funeral Service: 9:30 am Monday at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Fulton. 
Burial: will be in the Spring at St. Mary's Cemetery, Fulton.

Rayburn D. Doyle, 65
Oswego: Rayburn D. Doyle, 65, a resident of 96 Ontario Street, died February 19 [2000] at Community General Hospital.
Born in Lynwood, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Grady and Mabel (Showalter) Doyle.
He was a graduate of Marlinton High School in West Virginia. He had been a resident of Oswego for over 30 years.
He had been employed with Alcan Rolled Products as a scale clerk for 33 years, retiring in 1999.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Doyle enjoyed camping and traveling in his RV to West Virginia.
He was predeceased by two half-brothers, Randall and Garland Wilfong.
Survived by: his wife of 34 years, the former Polly Howell; two daughters, Kelly Doyle of Oswego and Shelly Corbliss of Harrisburg, PA; a son, David Doyle of Oswego; a half-sister, Ernestine Brown of Valley Head, WV; his mother-in-law, Blanche Howell; three grandchildren

Funeral Service: 10:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home. 
Burial: will be in the Spring at New Haven Cemetery.

Lucille B. Pitcher, 87

Fulton: Lucille B. Pitcher, 87, of 834 Rowlee Road, Volney, died Saturday at Sunrise Nursing Home, Oswego.
A native of Volney, Mrs. Pitcher was a life resident of the Volney-Fulton area. She retired in 1973 from Sealright Packaging Company, Fulton after 47 years.
Mrs. Pitcher was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Fulton. She was the widow of Orr C. Pitcher, who died in 1973.
Survived by: a daughter Marlene J. Snow of Volney; two sisters Arlene Hall of Fulton and Lillian Distin of Greenbrier, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Darlene Hughes of Fulton, April Casilio of Greenbrier, Arkansas and James Strough II of Greenbrier, Arkansas; seven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Bernard L. Hayden, Sr., 90

Fulton: Bernard L. Hayden, Sr., 90, of 415 North Seventh Street, Fulton, died Wednesday at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton, following a brief illness.
A native of Canton, Mr. Hayden had lived in Gouvenour before moving to Fulton in 1927. He retired in 1974 after 44 years as a foreman for Nestle Company in Fulton.
Mr. Hayden was a member of the Nestle Supervisors Club. He won the Fan of the Year award in the 1960's for the Fulton High School Wrestling Club. He played football for several years in Gouvenour and in Fulton.
He was predeceased by a son, Bernard L. Hayden, Jr. who died in 1992.
Survived by: his wife of 64 years, the former Margarete M. Smith of Fulton; five daughters, Helen M. Dennison, Cheryl D. Ingersoll, Dolores K. Howard, Debra L. Hayden and Teresa M. Hayden all of Fulton; three sons, Daryl C. Hayden, Dawson L. Hayden and Russell G. Hayden all of Fulton; a sister, Betty Hayden of Fulton; a brother, Derwood Hayden of Fulton; 23 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Betty M. Hyde

Oswego: Betty M. Hyde of Hannibal died Thursday at Loretto Heights, Oswego.
She retired from Hannibal Central School as a head bus driver and dispatcher in 1982.
She was an honorary member of the Women's Fire Auxilliary of Hannibal.
She attended Hannibal Community Church.
Her husband, Frank (Bud) died in 1986.
Survived by: two daughters, Vandeline M. Hyde of Oswego and Carol L. Eggleston of Hannibal; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Ina M. Hawksby Crandall, 95

Fulton: Ina M. Hawksby Crandall, 95, formerly of 316 West Fourth Street, Fulton, died Wednesday at Seneca Hill Manor in Oswego.
Mrs. Crandall was a native and life resident of Fulton. She retired in 1980 after 51 years as a legal secretary with Rice & Auser law firm in Fulton.
She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Fulton, where she was active in the altar guild for many years. She was also a member of the Elizabeth Chapter #105 Order of the Eastern Star in Fulton.
Foster Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Survived by: a niece, Cheryl Hawksby of Peterburg; a nephew, Robert Hawksby of Fulton; several great nieces and nephews.

Kip Lee Kelsey, 28
Oswego: Kip Lee Kelsey, 28, and a resident of 2505 State Rt. 48 in Minetto, died February 20, 2000 in Minetto.
Mr. Kelsey was born in Bloomington, Illinois and had lived in this area for 25 years.
He received his Batchelor's and Master's degrees from SUNY-Oswego.
Mr. Kelsey had been a technology teacher at the Fulton Junior High School for the past 5 years.
He was an enthusiastic outdoorsman who enjoyed a variety of activities including fishing, hunting, and camping.
Survived by: his spouse, Alis Yvonne Hyland of Minetto; a daughter, Katelynn Alis Kelsey; a son, Jordan Kelsey Smith; his parents, David and Kathy Kelsey; and a brother, Donald Kelsey.
Memorial Service: 3:00 pm Friday at the Hall Newman Center, 36 New St., Oswego. There will be no calling hours.

Fulton: Minnie A. Pillis, 92, formerly of 100 Rochester Street, Fulton, died Wednesday at Loretto Heights Nursing Home in Oswego.
A native of Yorkshire, England, she had resided in Tinton Falls, New Jersey most of her life before moving to Fulton in 1984,
Mrs. Pillis had worked at Nestle Company, Inc. in Fulton many years ago.
She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore A. Pillis, in 1982, and by a sister, Ethyl A. Yager, in 1997.
Survived by: several nieces and nephews.

Cary, North Carolina: Donald Wayne Bristol, 55, of Cary, North Carolina, formerly of Rochester, New York, died February 23, 2000.
Survived by: his wife, Barbara Calleri-Bristol; a son, Timothy, of Fulton; a daughter, Kimberly, of Fulton; a brother, Robert Bristol, of Fulton; a sister, Diane Nickels, of Fulton; a stepson, Dean Calleri of Orlando, Florida.

Volney: Vera M. Goutermout, 83, formerly of 264 Owens Road, died Friday at Sunrise Nursing Home.
A native of Ontario, Canada, she resided most of her life in Volney.
She was predeceased by her husband, Henry L. Goutermout, in 1971, and a son, Francis H. Goutermout, in 1965.

Survived by: two daughters, Alice A Kulas, and Doris E. Kerfien, both of Volney; a sister, Winafred Rompf of London, Ontario, Canada; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Annette Fitzgerald, 90
Oswego: Annette Fitzgerald, 60, died Saturday, February 26, 2000, at Oswego Hospital, Oswego, NY. She was a former resident of Seward Street, Fulton and recently had been a resident of St. Luke Health Facility for several years.
Born in Massena, NY, November 5, 1939, she was a daughter of Riland and Verna (Perkins) Ramsey.
Mrs. Fitzgerald had retired from Syracuse Glass, where she had been employed in the offices for many years.
Survived by: four sons, William, of Mexico, Chris, of Fulton, Robbie, of Seattle, Washington, and David, of Fulton; a daughter, Kelly Thurlow of Roanoke, Virginia; a brother, Richard Ramsey of Syracuse; two sisters, Shirley Scott of Poughkeepsie and Carol Bradish of Massena; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Fulton: Charles W. Griffin, 74, of 302 Walradt Street, Fulton, died Sunday at University Hospital in Syracuse.
A native of Trout Creek, he has resided in Fulton for several years. He worked at Marshall Street Coffee House in Syracuse. He was the groundskeeper for Calvary Baptist Church in Fulton for many years.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Fulton and an avid outdoorsman.
Survived by: his wife, Cherie M. Griffin of Fulton; three sons, William C. Griffin, David L. Griffin, and Robert J. Griffin, all of Fulton; three sisters, Virginia Gardener of Delhi, Margaret Zeh and Freda Griffin, both of Schoharie; a brother, Robert G. Griffin of Delhi.

Fulton: Mabel M. McDermott, 81, a resident of 204 Hannibal Street, died Sunday as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Mrs. McDermott was born in Fulton and was a life resident.
Prior to her retirement, she had been employed at Angelo's Big M in Fulton.
Survived by: her husband Richard L. McDermott of Fulton; two sons, Richard McDermott of Charleston, SC and Douglas McDermott of Fulton; one daughter, Patricia Pardue of Fulton; one brother, Cecil Gardner of California; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Hannibal: Mary Anne Drozda, 93, formerly of Hannibal, NY died Tuesday, February 29, 2000, at Seneca Hill Manor, Town of Volney, here she was a resident.
Born in Port Jervis, NY, November 29, 1906, she was the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Luzchen) Dorchak. Mrs. Drozda was a communicant of Blessed Virgin Mary Mother of God Catholic Church in Syracuse, NY.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael, in 1965.
Survived by: one daughter, Rosemary Wallis if Hannibal, NY; one son, Michael Drozda of New Haven, CN.
