Surviving in addition to her son are her husband, Holman, a resident of Loretto Heights Nursing Facility, Oswego; four brothers, Richard, Donald and Paul Penfield, all of Oswego, and Howard Penfield of Scottsdale, Ariz.; four sisters Shirley Dashnau, Helen Babcock and Frances Wadas, all of Oswego, and Peggy Troglin of Venus, Texas; and 35 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Teddy and Edward Penfield, and a sister, Ruth Sarat.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Taylor, in 1981; a daughter, Catherine Brewer, in 1974; and a son, Robert Taylor, in 1990.
