INVERNESS, Fla. -- Timothy "Toad" J. Hoadley Sr., 56, of 3708 E. Highlite Court, Inverness, Fla., formerly of Auburn and Fulton, died Oct. 29, 2001, at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Fla. Surviving are three daughters, Amy (Donald) M. Cook, Tammy E. and Melissa A. Hoadley, all of Fulton; one son, Timothy J. Hoadley Jr. of Fulton; his former wife Sharon Hoadley of Fulton; one sister, Susan C. Hoadley of Auburn; two brothers, James C. Hoadley of Auburn and Thomas Hoadley of Florida; and a close companion, Marge Bedard of Florida. OSWEGO -- Jean Briggs, 84, a resident of the Manor at Seneca Hill, died Nov. 2, 2001. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Briggs, and a daughter, Helen Klock. She is survived by a son, David H. Briggs of Albany; a sister, Katherine S. Cable of N. Kingston, R.I.; and a brother, Charles W. Hallock of Dover Plains.

She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen in 1960; a daughter, Janet Spencer in 1983; and a son, Mark, in 2000.

She was predeceased by her husband, Elmer, in 1996, and a grandson, Joseph McNitt, in 1999.

Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Margaret (Wells) Driscoll of Oswego; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Patricia) McBrien of Minetto; one brother, Paul Driscoll of Fulton; six grandchildren, Susan Laurent, Colleen Cook, Michele Lloyd, Scott McBrien, Erin Roy and Kelly Driscoll; and 10 great-grandchildren. AUBURN -- Ruth E. Fairchild, 83, of Van Anden Street, Auburn, died Nov. 5, 2001, at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo, where she had resided for the past three years. Surviving are one daughter, Karen (John) L. Prave of Union Springs; two brothers, Burt L. Fairchild of Apopka, Fla., and George H. Fairchild of Bethlehem, Pa.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Burt Fairchild in 1984, and a brother, Harlan M. Loomis, several years ago.

SYRACUSE -- Lucille Rotella Mower, 90, formerly of 1 Franklin Square, Syracuse, died Nov. 5, 2001, at James Square Nursing Home, Syracuse, after a long illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Mower in 1971, and three sisters, Rose Marcino in 1992, Ellen Chiarelli in 1994, and Mary Andolina this year. Surviving are one son, Robert Rotella of Liverpool; one sister, Genevieve Runeari; and one grandson, Michael (Susan) Rotella.
