*Note:  I believe the oldest son was named Irvin not Irwin. The infant son was named James.  Winifred's sister Doris was married to Albert Weinheimer, the youngest brother of her husband, Gordon.

HERRMANN - Dorothy L. (nee Pellette)  Jan. 8, 1977, beloved wife of the late Edward A. Herrmann; dear mother of Lt. Col. R. A. (Barbara) Herrmann, U.S. Army, Edward J. (Marie), Michael J. (Jane), Mrs. James (Mary) Soda, and Mrs. John (Margaret) Novak; sister of Mrs. Mabel Borneman, Mrs. Harold (Clare) Baker and Mrs.Harry (Virginia) Campbell; Mrs. Herrmann is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.  Funeral from the Edw. Nightengale Funeral Home, 1884 South Park Ave., Tuesday at 8:15 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial from the Church of the Holy Family at 9 AM.  Friends invited.  Family will be present on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  Mrs. Herman was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society of Holy Family Church, Our Lady of Fatima 3rd Order of Mt. Carmel and the Blue Army of Our Lady.  In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions to the American Cancer Society.

HARRY BERKOWITZ
Harry Berkowitz, 82, a retired tailor, died today (Jan. 10, 1977) in Millard Fillmore Hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Berkowitz, of 3 Hecia St., was a partner for 35 years in Reliable Tailors, 745 Main St., until the business closed in 1955.  For 10 years after that, he was employed in various tailor shops in the area.
Born in Radam, Poland, he came to the United States as a child.  By age 16, he was already working as a tailor in New York City.  He moved to Buffalo at age 20.
He was a past officer and director of Workmen's Circle Lodge, and will be buried in that organization's Cemetery, part of Pine Hill Cemetery in Cheektowaga....

SMALL - Mercedes E.  Jan. 9, 1977, beloved wife of Edward Small; mother of Norman E. Dixon; grandmother of Neil E.
