RONALD HICKS
Ronald H. Hicks of East Aurora died Nov. 20, 2001 in Cheektowaga.  He was born Feb. 13, 1934 in Corapolis, Pennsylvania but raised in the Pittsburgh area, and was the husband of Betsy Rice and father of Ronald Jr. (Jerrie Jean) of St. Louis, Missouri and Kimberly Lynne Hicks of East Aurora.  He was the son of the late Paul and Audrey Fox Hicks and brother of the late Jack Hicks.  He was the grandfather of Nicole Hicks and uncle to nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hicks graduated from Penn State University as a metallurgical engineer and spent most of his working career in research and development in the titanium industry.  He spent 25 years as plant manager and VP of operations and production in aerospace titanium scrap processing for Goldman Titanium Company in Buffalo.  He was a past member of ASM and Kappa Sigman Fraternity of Penn State.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Fri., Nov. 30, 2001 at the Wood Funeral Home, East Aurora with Rev. Norbert Orsolitis officiating. Interment was private.
