(John) Towner; brother of the late Jeanette (Francis) Dorn; also survived by six grandsons, five granddaughters and a niece, Louise Weaver. He was a member of the Engineering Society of Buffalo.

Age 78, of North Tonawanda, NY, September 17, 1997, in DeGraff Memorial Hospital; beloved father of David (Cheri) Tesch and William (Sue) Tesch; brother of Betty (Ray) Bosz and Edie (Russ) Dotzler, and the late Floyd and Norman Tesch; grandfather of eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; beloved friend of Emma Gillis and family. Mr. Tesch was a long time member of the Loyal Order of Moose No. 2163, Legion of the Moose and Pilgrim of the Moose. He was also an honorary member of Live Hose Co. No. 4. No prior visitation. A memorial service will be held Friday at 7 PM from the FRETTHOLD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Niagara Hospice.

Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Mrs. Wiertel was a past member of the Ladies Social Club of Sloan and life member of the Parish Rosary Society and Mothers Club (Friday-6:45 PM).
