Ackerman; active and loving grandfather of Stacy, Jamie and Allison Green, Madison and Taylor Ackerman; brother of Betty (Pete) Huss of Penfield, NY; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Mr. Ackerman served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1954, and retired from Durez in 1986. He is a member of the American Legion Post #1451, Rescue Fire Co # 5 and St. Paul's Lutheran Church. No prior visitation. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday at 10 AM from St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 453 Old Falls Blvd. in North Tonawanda, the Rev.
