Hazeltine, Kathryn M., 87, of Youngsville, died Mar. 8, 2000. She was born June 6, 1912, in Warren, the daughter of John and Vera Neeley Wilson. Surviving are three daughters: Shirley McKinney, Carolyn Gibson and Gail Haight. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Hazeltine; five brothers: Harold, LaVerne, Woodrow, Glenn and Virgil Wilson; and three sisters: Ruth Brown, Leone Mack and Evelyn Maze. Burial was in Warren County Memorial Park.

Youngberg, William Carl, 61, of Russell, died Mar. 7, 2000 in Kinzua Valley. He was born Oct. 21, 1938 in Jamestown, the son of Ethel Dudgeon Farley and the late Gust A. Youngberg. Surviving are his wife, Violet E. Wilkins; three sons: Craig, Jeffrey and Terry Youngberg; two daughters: Billie Nuher and Lauri Desrosiers; a brother, David Youngberg; and a sister, Nancy Carlson. Burial was in Lander.

Laurich, Stephen A., 93, of Warren, died Mar. 6, 2000 in Kinzua Valley. He was born July 30, 1906 in Buffalo, the son of Anthony and Susan Laurich. Surviving are his wife, Mary Coyle Laudich; two sons: Stephen and Laurich; five daughters: Susan Petrus, Wendy and Kathryn Laurich, Christine Ingemi, and Laura Swallow; and a sister, Anne Owen. He was preceded in death by a sister, Madeline Halsey.

Barber, Wallace E., 79, of Randolph, died Mar. 10, 2000. He was born Mar. 26, 1920, the son of Wallace J. and Teresa Osterman Barber. Surviving ae a daughter, Deborah J. Farr; and a sister, Delores Janas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie E. Solsbee Barber; four brothers: Otis, Kenneth "Red", Deloss "Si", and Earl Barber; and two sisters: Ava Rapp and Mildred Hanley. Burial was in Steamburg Cemetery.

Ecklund, John E., 84, of New Haven, CT, died Mar. 9, 2000. He was born in Jamestown, the son of J. Edwin and Sigrid Johnson Ecklund. Surviving are his wife, Constance Cryer Ecklund; two daughters: Hilda Ollmann and Elizabeth Berger; and two sons: Peter, and John Ecklund, Jr. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Sizer Ecklund; and a sister, Jane Marie Ecklund.

Ortolano, Thomas F., 75, of Jamestown, died Mar. 9, 2000. He was born March 24, 1924, the son of Russell and Mary Rotolo Ortolano. She was born June 26, 1925 in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of the late Ernest and Mae Clara Reed Cook. She is survived by two daughters: Karen M. Hubbard and Debbie Osmanski; a son, Robert A. Pettit; two sisters: June Smith and Helem Fromknecht; and a brother, William Cook. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Cook and a sister, Nancy Pickering. Interment was in the Quincy Cemetery.

Turzillo, Nicholine D., 91, of Forestville, died May 19, 2000 in Irving. She was born Feb. 9, 1909 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of Angelo and Libar Donatelli. She is survived by three sons: John J., Angelo J., and John Turzillo; and a daughter, Rosemarie Eagan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Turzillo, whom she married March 22, 1925, and who died June 26, 1998; two brothers: Tony and James Donatelli; and a sister, Concetta Gabriel. Wilcox, Ruth G., 84, of Gibsonia, PA., formerly of Pittsfield, died May 18, 2000 in Jamestown. She was born March 20, 1916 in Pittsfield, the daughter of Mark and Alice Cady Summerson. She is survived by a daughter, Janet Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Rogers, whom she married Oct. 16, 1936 and who died March 19, 1985. Burial was in Warren County Memorial Park, Warren.

Wasberg, Letty, 84, of Palm Harbor, FL., formerly of Lakewood, died May 17, 2000. She was born April 13, 1916 in Sinclairville, the daughter of Obadiah and Martha Eddy Wilder. Surviving are her husband, Paul Wasberg, whom she married Nov. 10, 1934 in Jamestown; a son, Roger Wasberg; a daughter, Janet Holcomb; and two sisters: Vernal Walsh and Wavie Peterson. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Ed, Harry, Sterling, and Bill Wilder; and two sisters: Winifred Koterass and Margaret Heath. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg.

Palmieri, Michael Christian, 21, formerly of Jamestown and Binghamton, died May 17, 2000. He was born Aug. 17, 1978 in Jamestown, the son of Michael and Janis Digirolamo. Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers: Frank Palmieri and Alexander Digirolamo. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne and Wilda Chapman of Falconer.

Surviving are her husband, Vivian L. Wright; three sons: David V., Bradley J., and Douglas C. Wright; one daughter, Dawn V.,; three brothers: Michael, Frank, and James Piazza; and three sisters: Carmella Valvo, Rose Vitello, and Ann Docherty. Sorenson, Bonita L., 55, of Celeron, died May 17, 2000. She was born Dec. 6, 1944 in Jamestown, the daughter of Floyd E. and Florence J. Reese Brown. Surviving are her husband, Eugene F. Sorenson, whom she married Sept. 14, 1963; a son, SSgt. Reid A. Sorenson; her mother; and a brother, Ronald D. Brown. Burial was in the Evergreen Lawn Cemetery in the Town of Hanover.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Frederick Verigan, whom she married June 23, 1931; three sisters: Ruth Marie, Laura May and Gertrude Hazel; and two brothers: Howard Glenn and Arthur Ralph. Thelander, Thelma A., 92, formerly of Blockville, Jamestown and FL., died May 20, 2000. She was born in Hubbard, OH, July 1, 1907, the daughter of Lemuel and Bertha Rolfe. She was the widow of Carl J. Thelander, whom she married Nov. 23, 1939, and who died Oct. 15, 1990. She was also preceded in death by two brothers. Entombment was in the Manasota Memorial Park in Sarasota, FL.
