SKANEATELES FALLS -Charles A. "Pete" Bowe, 78, of Stump Road, Skaneateles Falls, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000, at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse. He was a life-long resident of Skaneateles Falls. Mr. Bowe had retired as a foreman for 28 years at the former Stauffer Chemical Co. in Skaneateles Falls. He was a 1940 graduate of Elbridge High School. He was a Navy veteran of World War II serving for 3-1/2 years. He was a communicant and usher at St. Mary's of the Lake Church in Skaneateles. He was a member of the Valentine Meyer American Legion Post 317 in Skaneateles Falls and was a member of the Msgr. Meany Council No. 9072 Knights of Columbus. He was an avid golfer and a former member of Camillus Country Club.

E. Kenneth Case
AURELIUS -E. Kenneth Case, 85, of 614 Clark St. Road, Aurelius, died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2000 at Auburn Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 31, 1915 in Marietta, he was the son of the Rev. Orson M. Case and Helen Schuyler Case. Mr. Case was a graduate of Ovid High School. He studied agriculture at Cornell University, where he received a two-year degree. He was a member of the Cayuga United Methodist Church.

Anna G. (Spoor) Jackson
SAVANNAH -Anna G. (Spoor) Jackson, 84, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000 in Auburn Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Ambrose O. Jackson Sr.; son, James K. Jackson; grandson, Todd M. Stowell; and foster son, Robert Taylor.

George Raymond Marsh
SENECA FALLS -George Raymond Marsh, 79, of 2283 Lower Lake Road, Seneca Falls, died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2000, at Geneva General Hospital. Mr. Marsh was born April 2, 1921, in Seneca Falls, the son of Reid and Violette Pay Marsh. He was a graduate of Mynderse Academy Class of 1940. He was employed for many years at the A&P, Loblaws and P&C as a meat cutter/manager, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Kirk Casey Post 366 American Legion in Seneca Falls. He served in World War II in the Pacific Theater as a technical sergeant in the 33rd Bomb Squadron, flying 52 missions over the Philippines in the Air Force.

AUBURN - James Cefaratti, 74, of Seymour Street, Auburn, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000 in Auburn Memorial Hospital. Mr. Cefaratti was born in Auburn and lived most of his life in the Waterloo, Seneca Falls and Auburn areas. He retired in 1989 from Borden Foods of Waterloo.

Edward A. Dann
FLEMING - Edward A. Dann, 57, husband of Susan Kuter Dann, of State Route 34, Fleming, died unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000 at Crouse Irving Hospital. Born in Auburn, he was the son of Emory and Margaret Martin Dann. He was employed by the New York state Department of Corrections at Auburn Correctional Facility where he served as deputy superintendent of security. A veteran of the Air Force, he served two tours of duty in Vietnam. Ed was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Born June 1, 1929, she was the daughter of Ray T. and Hazel Hutson DeLand. She was a graduate of Auburn High School. Joyce was an active member of Sand Beach Church in Fleming and the First United Methodist Church in Auburn. She was a past matron of the Auburn chapter Order of Eastern Star.

AUBURN - Mrs. Dorothy L. Criley Lardin, 67, of 204 North St., Auburn, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at Auburn Memorial Hospital. She was born in Cabot, Pa. on April 13, 1933, the daughter of George and Bernice Pontius Criley and married Robert C. Lardin on July 10, 1955. They have been residents of Auburn for the past 23 years. A member of St. Mary's Church in Auburn, she enjoyed auctions and would often volunteer for Top Hat Auctions, Auburn.

AUBURN - Mr. Robert J. "Bob" Randall Sr., 74, a retired Auburn police officer, of 76 Capitol St., Auburn, died Monday, July 30, 2001, at his home. An Auburn native, he was born April 1, 1927, the son of Carl C. and Alice M. Myers Randall. A graduate of Holy Family High School, Auburn Community College and SUNY Oswego, he retired from the City of Auburn Police Department in 1984 after 35 years of service. His wife, Jane Mullalloy Randall, died in 1995.

GENEVA - Edith L. (Pacil) Iocco, 93, formerly of Geneva, died Monday, July 30, 2001, at the Finger Lakes Center for the Living in Auburn. Edith was born July 2, 1908 in Sykesville, Pa., the daughter of the late Frank and Cora Aiman Pacil. She worked for many years at the Hulse Mfg. Co. before her retirement. She was a member of St. Francis Church and a very active member of the Rosary Society before moving to Auburn.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jack Murphy; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and David Dickman of Owasco; daughter, Christine Murphy of Rochester; five sisters, Elizabeth Burns, Sister Mary Catherine Burns, Nancy Cayer, Sister Francis Patrick Burns and Mary Ann Burns; a niece, Katie Kane, along with several other nieces and nephews.

AUBURN - Paul M. Deyo Sr., 76, of Auburn, died Monday, July 30, 2001, at Auburn Memorial Hospital. Mr. Deyo was born in South Hadley Falls, Mass., the son of Moses and Mabel Goyette Deyo. Mr. Deyo lived most of his life in the Auburn area. He was a former employee of Crown Tire of Auburn. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member and past president of the Frank Calimeri Veterans Post No. 9 and a member of VFW Post 1975, both of Auburn.

CAMILLUS - Suzanne Lipe Cross, 76, of 5-4 Kings Court, Camillus, died Monday, July 30, 2001, at home. Mrs. Cross was born in Syracuse. She graduated from Dane Hall, Wellesley, Mass., and was a volunteer with the American Red Cross Motor Corps during World War II. She was an emergency medical technician with SAVES Ambulance for 17 years. She was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Skaneateles Flotilla 2-15 and received a meritorious service medal for a rescue on Skaneateles Lake in 1985. She also was a member of the Limestone Creek Hunt Club and a founding member of the Skaneateles Ski Club.

MORAVIA - Mildred B. Myers, 97, of the Howd Nursing Home, Moravia, formerly of Northbrook Heights, Auburn, and King Ferry, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at Auburn Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Myers was born March 5, 1904, in the town of Venice, the daughter of the late Burt and Estyra (Myers) Longstreet. Mrs. Myers was a graduate of King Ferry Central School and she and her late husband, Asa Myers, operated a dairy farm on Black Rock Road for many years. Mrs. Myers had later been employed as a night watch-person with Wells College. In most recent years, she had been a home health aid for the Office of the Aging in the Genoa-King Ferry area. She was a past member of the Ledyard Methodist Church.

AUBURN - Richard Chamberlain, 40, of 5 Aiken Drive, Auburn, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at home. A native of Auburn, Richard was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. He was a graduate of West Genesee High School, Camillus. He served as a staff sergeant with the New York Air Guard 174th Fighter Wing at Hancock Field. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and was a avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and hiking.

Flanigan and Dorothy I. O'Connor Flanigan of Auburn. He graduated from Utica College and served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a production supervisor at Auburn Correctional Facility in the Upholstery Department. Prior to that, he was employed with ECG Phillips (Sylvania) in Seneca Falls for 18 years.

Born in Utica, he was a truck driver for Hallamore Motor Transport Co., Syracuse, for 15 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local 317 and formerly lived in Marietta for 13 years before moving to Skaneateles 19 years ago. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, and a communicant of St. Alphonsus Church in Auburn.

A resident of Auburn since his retirement in 1980 from the Air Force, he was born in Mount Pleasant, Pa., the son of Wallace H. and Esther Tannehill Long. A graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, he retired as a 27-year veteran of the Air Force. He had served with the Army during World War II.
