She is survived by her sons, Don Tomlin of Henderson and Mark of Tucson, Ariz.; daughters, Lourdes Williams and Elizabeth Young, both of Las Vegas, and Millie Gibson and Irene, both of Henderson; sisters, Edith Fernandez of Hialeah, Fla., and Nancy Figeroa of Florida; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home.

Rebecca Louise Billings, 38, died Monday.
She was born July 30, 1961, in El Paso, Texas. A theater technician for a college, she was a 12-year resident of Henderson, was a member of Honor Society and Phi Beta Kappa, both at UNLV, and was active in local theater.
She is survived by her husband, Damian of Henderson; parents, Jose Armendariz and Norma Armendariz; sister, Belinda Reno; all of El Paso; brothers, Joe Armendariz of Las Vegas and Charles Armendariz of Los Angeles; and grandfather, Alfredo Armendariz of El Paso.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Catholic Church followed by burial at Palm Memorial Park-Henderson. Zona W. Christensen, 74, died Monday at Nathan Adelson Hospice.
She was born Nov. 6, 1925, in Cardston, Alberta. A homemaker, she was a 51-year resident of Las Vegas.
She is survived by her husband, Don; daughter, Judy Anne Scott; sons, Wayne, Eugene, Carl, Eric and Marcus; all of Las Vegas; sister, La Verle Ferguson of Cardston; brothers, Keith Walburger of Springfield, Ore., and Russell Walburger of Mt. View, Alberta; 25 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Palm Mortuary-Jones and one hour prior to services at 11 a.m. Friday at the Lorenzi and Celeste chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Graveside services will follow at Palm Memorial Park-Northwest.

She was born June 3, 1913, in Round Timber, Texas. A retired linen supervisor in a nursing home, she was a 16-year resident of Las Vegas and a former member of Lake Worth Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Wermter of Las Vegas; sisters, Emma Adams, Martha Little and Vivian Fife, all of Fort Worth, Texas; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. today at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Ella Council
Ella J. Council, 89, died Jan. 14 at a Las Vegas hospital.
She was born Aug. 24, 1910, in Jefferson, Texas. A retired pantry worker in a hotel-casino, she was a 63-year resident of Las Vegas and a former member of Order of Eastern Star. She was a worker for the National Federation of Blind and was co-founder of the Las Vegas Blind Center.
She is survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Palm Mortuary-Downtown with services at 1 p.m. Friday at Zion United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
