He is survived by his son, Ronald of Las Vegas; sister, Loida Hess
of Highland, Mich.; and one grandchild.
Services are private. The family requests memorial donations be made
to any hospice. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society
handled arrangements.

Ray Williams
Ray Williams, 71, died Thursday in a Las Vegas hospital.
He was born June 30, 1928, in Copperfield, Utah. An Army veteran, he
was a musician, a retired retail manager and a 12-year resident of Boulder
City.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce of Boulder City; son, Vincent of
Las Vegas; daughters, Carrie Bernards and Leslie, both of Santa Clarita,
Calif., Nancy Lazkani of Sherman Oaks, Calif., and Lisa Jones of Palmdale,
Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at noon Wednesday at
the Boulder City Buchanan Street chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Southern
Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Palm Mortuary-Henderson handled arrangements.
