Mae Williams
Mae R. Williams, 82, died Sunday at a Henderson hospital.
She was born May 30, 1917, in Manti, Utah. A homemaker, she was a 35-year
resident of Henderson and a member of Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and
Palo Verde Garden Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Hazel Haigh of Las Vegas.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Desert Rose chapel of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Henderson, followed by burial
at Palm Valley View Memorial Park. The family requests memorial donations
be made to National Wildlife Federation, Memorial and Tribute Gift Dept.,
8925 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, Va., 22184. Palm Mortuary-Henderson handled
arrangements.

Melva Zellers
Melva D. Zellers, 61, died Wednesday.
She was born Oct. 1, 1938, in Overton, Texas. A secretary for a photography
business, she was a 50-year resident of Las Vegas.
She is survived by her husband, Joe; son, William Mitchell; both of
Las Vegas; daughters, Deborah Larson of Salt Lake City and Kathryn Back
and Brenda, both of Las Vegas; brother, Lloyd Swenney of New York; nine
grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday at Palm Mortuary-Jones,
where services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow at Palm
Valley View Memorial Park.
