He was born Sept. 14, 1934, in Oklahoma. An Army veteran, he was an engineer in the aerospace industry and a 21-year resident of Las Vegas.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lou; and sons, Bernie and Ben, all of Las Vegas; daughters, Mona of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Gina Neale, Rhonda Smith, Michele Stephenson, Nune and Shelly, all of Las Vegas; and 21 grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. today at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Valley Memorial Crematory handled arrangements.

She was born Aug. 12, 1937, in Flint, Mich. A secretary for Clark County, she was a 20-year resident of Las Vegas.
She is survived by her husband, Chuck; and son, Richey Jones, both of Las Vegas; daughters, Terri Isaacs of Traverse City, Mich., and Cristy Noble of Mason, Mich.; mother, Fern Richey; and sister, Paula Richey, both of Boulder City; and two grandsons.

He was born Sept. 27, 1929, in Mexico. A mining supervisor, he was a 21-year resident of Las Vegas.

Clarence Lamar Perkins, 72, died Tuesday in Roseburg, Ore.
He was born July 17, 1927, in Randolph, Utah. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a security officer for the Nevada Test Site, a 44-year resident of Nevada and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his sons, David of La Puente, Calif., and James of Las Vegas; daughters, Dana Fotheringham of Roseburg, Nona Gardner of Las Vegas and Christeen Kinney of Vancouver, Wash.; brothers, Ray of Bountiful, Utah, and Merl of Woods Cross, Utah; sisters, Elda Huff of Bountiful, Lorna Price of Syracuse, Utah, Louise Hall of Salt Lake City and Cheryl Green of Woods Cross; 24 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
