CHARLES F. SIEVERS SR., 82, of Ridgefield Park died Monday. Before retiring in 1977, he worked for the Wood-Ridge Chemical Co., Wood-Ridge, for 40 years. He was a member and trustee of First Baptist Church, Ridgefield Park, where he also was a member of its Merry People's Club. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 6, the Special Police, and the Dr. Charles A. Knox Volunteer Ambulance Corps, all in Ridgefield Park. He also was a member and chief of the Ridgefield Park Fire Department, and was a member and former captain of Hook and Ladder Company 1 in Ridgefield Park. He was a volunteer in the hemodialysis unit of Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck. He was a member of the New Jersey State Firemen's Association, the New Jersey and New York Volunteer Firemen's Association, and the New Jersey State Exempt Firemen's Association. He was honored as the Veterans of Foreign Wars Man of the Year in Ridgefield Park. He was the grand marshal of the Fourth of July Parade in Ridgefield Park.
